Use Hostinger AI Builder’s built-in section: open the target page in Manual mode, choose Add section, select FAQ, and pick a template. Hostinger inserts the FAQ automatically. Edit the questions, answers, and appearance, then update or publish the site so the changes become visible online.
This guide follows Hostinger’s documented Manual-mode workflow and also explains when an embedded widget such as Elfsight makes sense, how the two approaches differ, and what to check when the FAQ does not appear where expected.
What you need before adding the FAQ
Hostinger’s Manual mode is the visual, no-code editor for changing text, images, and sections by working directly on a page. The page list is managed from the Pages and navigation panel. FAQ sections are added from the page canvas with Add section; there is no separate sections tab that you need to open first.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Have these details ready:
- The page on which the questions should appear, such as a support, product, services, or contact page.
- The final wording for each question and answer, or at least a draft you can refine in the editor.
- Access to the website’s update or publish control. Changes made in the editor are not automatically the same as changes visible on the public site.
If you are currently using Hostinger’s Agentic mode, switch to the visual Manual-mode workflow for these steps. Agentic mode is a separate conversational experience and is not required to insert this section.

How to add an FAQ section in Hostinger AI Builder
The built-in method is the quickest route because Hostinger supplies the section layout and inserts it into the page for you.
- Open Pages and navigation. In the builder, open the Pages and navigation panel so you can work with the site’s page list.
- Choose the destination page. Open the existing page where the FAQ belongs. If the site does not have a suitable page, create a new page from this panel and open it in the editor.
- Click Add section. Work from the page canvas and select Add section. This is the control Hostinger uses to insert a new block of content; you do not need to find a dedicated “sections” tab.
- Select FAQ. In the side menu that opens, choose FAQ to view the available FAQ layouts.
- Pick a template. Click the FAQ template whose arrangement best fits the page. The choice determines the starting presentation, while the content and styling can be customized afterward.
- Confirm the insertion. Hostinger automatically inserts the selected FAQ section into the page. You can now work on the section in the same visual editor as the rest of the page.
- Update or publish the website. When the questions, answers, and styling are ready, use the builder’s update or publish action. This final step pushes the edited page online; leaving the content in the editor alone will not make the new FAQ visible to visitors.
How to edit the questions, answers, and design
After insertion, select the new FAQ section on the page canvas and use the editing controls exposed by the chosen template. Hostinger’s workflow allows you to customize the questions, answers, and styling, so replace the sample copy with information that is specific to your site.
Write questions visitors actually ask
Use the wording customers use when they contact you. A question should identify one issue, such as delivery timing, account access, project scope, or a service limitation. Avoid combining several unrelated issues in one heading; separate questions are easier to scan and easier to maintain when one answer changes.
Make each answer self-contained
Put the essential answer near the beginning, then add the conditions or next step a visitor needs. If the answer depends on a particular page, form, policy, or contact route, name that destination clearly rather than relying on a vague “learn more” instruction. Keep terminology consistent with the rest of the site.

Check the visual treatment
Use the template’s styling controls to make the FAQ fit the surrounding page. Check the question and answer contrast, spacing, heading treatment, and the open-and-close behavior supplied by the layout. Preview the section in context so a long answer does not overwhelm nearby content.
Review the section in its page position
An FAQ can be inserted between other sections, so inspect the page from top to bottom after editing. Make sure the section is next to the content it supports and that it does not leave an unintended gap or push an important call to action too far down the page. If the page was newly created, confirm that its navigation placement is also appropriate before publishing.
How to make the FAQ visible online
Editing and publishing are separate stages. The FAQ can look complete inside the builder while the public page still shows the previous version. Use the builder’s Update or Publish control after adding the section and after any later content changes.
Quick wins for a faster PC:

- Use the builder’s preview or page view, if available, to inspect the result in context.
- Click Update or Publish to push the current version online.
- Open the public page and verify that the FAQ section appears, the questions and answers are correct, and the layout behaves as intended.
If you make another edit later, repeat the update or publish step. The same requirement applies whether the FAQ was created with Hostinger’s built-in template or added through an external embed.

Adding an FAQ to a new page instead of an existing page
You do not have to place the FAQ on the homepage. In Pages and navigation, create a page when a dedicated support or frequently asked questions destination is more useful. Open that page, choose Add section, select FAQ, and choose a template exactly as you would on an existing page.
A dedicated page works well when the answers are extensive or when visitors need a single reference destination. An FAQ section on a product or service page is usually more useful for questions that arise immediately before a visitor takes an action. Choose the location based on the questions’ context rather than duplicating the same answers on several pages.
Built-in FAQ section or an embedded widget?
Hostinger documents Elfsight as an example of a third-party platform that can provide an embeddable Accordion FAQ widget. This is an optional route for cases where the built-in templates do not provide the layout or behavior you need. It introduces another service and an additional setup step, so use it deliberately rather than replacing the simpler native section by default.

- Choose a widget template. In the external widget platform, select an Accordion FAQ template and enter the questions and answers.
- Customize and save it. Adjust the widget’s available appearance and behavior settings, then save the configuration. Elfsight may ask you to select a plan as part of this process.
- Choose Add to website. Use the platform’s Add to website action to generate the integration code.
- Copy the integration code. Copy the code supplied by the widget service exactly as provided.
- Open Hostinger’s embed code element. Return to the Hostinger page where the widget should appear and insert an embed code element at the desired location.
- Paste the code and resize the element. Paste the copied code into the embed element, then resize that element if the widget needs more height or width to display correctly.
- Update the Hostinger website. Publish or update the site in Hostinger. The widget is not part of the live page until the Hostinger change is published.
Keep the widget account active and maintain its content in the external platform. Unlike a native section, an embedded widget depends on that separate service for its configuration and delivery.

Choosing between the two approaches
| Consideration | Hostinger FAQ template | Embedded widget |
|---|---|---|
| Setup effort | Open the page, choose Add section, select FAQ, and pick a template. Hostinger inserts it automatically. | Configure a widget externally, save it, copy integration code, paste it into an embed code element, resize it, and publish. |
| Customization | Uses the layouts and styling controls available in Hostinger’s FAQ templates. | May offer additional layouts or behavior through the widget provider’s controls. |
| Maintenance | Questions, answers, and styling remain in the Hostinger editor. | Content and settings are maintained in a separate widget service, creating an additional service and plan dependency. |
| Publishing | Update or publish the Hostinger website after editing. | Update the external widget when needed and also update or publish the Hostinger website after the embed changes. |
| Best fit | A straightforward FAQ that should match the rest of the Hostinger page and be quick to maintain. | A specialized presentation or behavior that the native templates cannot supply. |
For most sites, start with the built-in template. Move to an embedded widget only when its additional layout or behavior solves a specific requirement that the native section cannot meet.
Troubleshooting the Manual-mode workflow
“Add section” is not visible
Confirm that you opened a page from Pages and navigation and are working on the page canvas in Manual mode. The FAQ insertion path is not a separate sections dashboard: the control appears while editing a page. If you are in Agentic mode, return to the visual Manual-mode editor before following the procedure.
The FAQ was added to the wrong page
Open Pages and navigation again and check the page selected before you inserted the section. If necessary, remove or revise the section on that page and repeat the process on the intended destination page. Verify the page name in the editor before publishing.
The section appears in the editor but not on the live site
The most common workflow issue is stopping after customization. Use the website’s Update or Publish action, then reload the public page. If you made several edits, confirm that the latest version—not an earlier draft—is the one you published.

The layout does not fit the page
Try another FAQ template before switching to an external widget. Each template provides a different starting arrangement, and the selected section can be restyled in the editor. If no native option provides the presentation you need, use the embed-code route and resize the element after pasting the widget code.
The embedded widget is not displaying correctly
Check that the complete integration code was copied from the widget provider and pasted into Hostinger’s embed code element. Confirm that the element has enough space by resizing it, then update the Hostinger website. Changes made only in the external widget dashboard will not alter the Hostinger page until the published page loads the updated embed.
Planning useful FAQ content
The section is only as helpful as the answers it contains. Start with questions that remove a real obstacle to understanding or completing an action on your site. Group related questions together, use plain language, and avoid turning the FAQ into a second copy of the page’s marketing text.
- Prioritize high-friction questions: address uncertainty about what you offer, how the process works, timing, requirements, or the next step.
- Keep one subject per question: separate eligibility, pricing details, scheduling, and support instructions when they require different answers.
- State limits clearly: if an answer applies only to a particular service, location, customer type, or process, say so in the answer itself.
- Provide an action: when a visitor must contact you, submit a form, or open another page, explain what to do after reading the answer.
- Review on a schedule: revisit answers whenever your services, policies, contact details, or page structure changes.
These writing practices are independent of the selected template, so they also apply if you later move the content into an embedded widget.
