What was the Tapo DL100 coupon code?
TP-Link announced the U.S. launch on May 27, 2025, with a $59.99 offer at Amazon and Best Buy using code 10TAPOLOCK. The announcement said the offer ended June 20, 2025, or while supplies lasted. That price was a limited launch promotion, not a current price.
As of October 4, 2026, the promotion is expired. No current DL100 price, stock status, or replacement coupon is established here. Check a retailer’s live listing and its checkout terms before buying; do not assume the old code will work.
What does the Tapo DL100 offer?
Tapo describes the DL100 as an entry-level smart deadbolt. Its published features combine keypad entry with app access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, physical backup keys, and compatible voice-assistant access. Tapo also lists activity history, alerts, and auto-lock features; these are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Codes and ways to unlock
Tapo says the lock supports up to 200 access codes, including permanent, one-time, and scheduled codes. Its keypad is backlit, and the manufacturer says decoy digits can be entered around a real passcode. Voice commands require PIN confirmation, according to Tapo’s product information.
Connectivity and security specifications
Tapo lists 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE 5.0. The company also publishes 128-bit AES encryption with SSL/TLS and WPA/WPA2-PSK/WPA3 support. These are manufacturer-listed technical specifications; they do not by themselves establish how the lock performs in an independent security assessment.

Power, weather rating, and installation
The DL100 uses four AA/LR6 batteries, which Tapo says are included, and has a USB-C emergency power port. Tapo estimates up to seven months of battery life in Wi-Fi mode or up to ten months in Bluetooth-only mode. Those are manufacturer laboratory estimates based on 20 unlocks per day; actual life can vary with settings, router, usage, and environment.
Tapo lists IP54 exterior weatherproofing and BHMA Grade 3 certification for the DL100. These ratings are product specifications, not a guarantee of a particular security outcome or a substitute for checking whether a lock suits your door and conditions.

Tapo says the lock installs on a standard deadbolt without extra holes. Before ordering, check your door and existing deadbolt against the official Tapo installation instructions. No individual door fit or installation has been verified here.

The DL130 is a documented same-brand alternative if biometric entry or a higher listed weather-resistance rating matters. The official specifications support this comparison, but they do not establish that either model is categorically safer or better for every household.
