The CORSAIR 3500X is a mid-tower case built around removable front and side tempered-glass panels, broad motherboard support, and room for large GPUs and 360 mm radiators. CORSAIR’s US listing showed the base black model at $99.99 and in stock on October 4, 2026; that is a dated price for one edition, not a market-wide value ranking. The base case includes no fans, so account for cooling hardware separately.
What makes the 3500X distinctive?
The case uses front and side tempered-glass panels to create a wraparound view of the interior. CORSAIR says both panels are removable, which also gives access for assembly and maintenance. The design is intended to show off components, but it makes component choice and cable presentation especially visible.
CORSAIR announced the 3500X series on July 9, 2024, describing it as an affordable gaming-PC case. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not proof that it currently undercuts comparable cases. A September 20, 2024 Tom’s Hardware review of the 3500X ARGB edition characterized that variant as a bit pricier than competitors; it is a dated assessment of a different edition, not a current comparison of the base model. Will your motherboard and components fit?
CORSAIR lists support for Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards. E-ATX is limited to 305 × 277 mm, so check your board’s measurements rather than relying on the format name alone. The case also supports reverse-connector designs, including ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and GIGABYTE Project Stealth.

| Fit item | CORSAIR-listed specification |
|---|---|
| Maximum graphics-card length | 425 mm |
| Maximum CPU cooler height | 170 mm |
| Maximum power-supply length | 180 mm |
| Case dimensions (H × L × W) | 506 × 460 × 240 mm |

These are maximum listed clearances, not a guarantee that every combination fits comfortably. Check the dimensions of the exact GPU, cooler, PSU, radiator, and motherboard, including any overlap in the layout you plan to use. Vertical GPU mounting is supported, but the riser card is sold separately.
What cooling can you install?
The 3500X supports up to ten 120 mm fans across its mounting positions, with 140 mm fan support in some positions. CORSAIR lists radiator support up to 360 mm at the side or top and a 120 mm radiator at the rear. Its listed specifications do not include a front radiator mount.

The base 3500X ships with no fans. Buyers choosing that edition need to plan their own case-fan setup; the number and placement will depend on their cooling goals and component configuration. Do not assume the fan or lighting bundle of an ARGB or iCUE LINK edition applies to the base case.
What else is included in the layout?
- Front I/O: one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combined audio/microphone jack.
- Drive capacity: space for up to two 3.5-inch hard drives and two 2.5-inch SSDs at the same time.
- Cable routing: CORSAIR lists 45 mm of cable-routing space and dust filtration.
- Warranty: CORSAIR specifies a two-year warranty.
How much does the 3500X cost?
On October 4, 2026, CORSAIR’s US product page listed the base black 3500X at $99.99 and in stock. The page also showed a white option and other editions, including ARGB and iCUE LINK variants; their prices and availability should be checked separately. The observed price is a US listing snapshot and can change, and it does not establish pricing in other regions or whether the case is inexpensive relative to current competitors.

It is worth considering if you want a glass-forward mid-tower, need support for a range of motherboard sizes or reverse-connector boards, and have large-component or 360 mm radiator plans that fall within the listed clearances. It is less convenient if you expect a ready-to-use fan setup in the box: the base model requires separate fans. Before buying, compare the exact edition’s included equipment and confirm all component clearances against your planned layout.
