Intel’s release notes dated December 26, 2024 list fixes for five games on Arc B-Series (Battlemage) graphics products, including stuttering in Elden Ring and launch crashes in Homeworld 3. The document names driver versions 32.0.101.6332 Non-WHQL and 32.0.101.6253 Non-WHQL. These are historical fixes, not the newest Intel driver: the Intel download page checked October 4, 2026 lists version 32.0.101.9034.

Which Battlemage game issues did Intel list as fixed?

Intel’s December 26, 2024 release notes identify the following fixed issues for Arc B-Series graphics products. The notes list versions 32.0.101.6332 Non-WHQL and 32.0.101.6253 Non-WHQL; they do not quantify a performance gain or establish a measured frame-rate improvement. Intel’s release notes.

Game API Issue Intel listed as fixed
Elden Ring DX12 Stuttering in certain scenes
Homeworld 3 DX12 Crashes during game launch
The Crew Motorfest Vulkan Flickering or corruption
Selaco Vulkan Crashes during launch
F1 24 DX12 Stuttering with ray tracing set to high, and lighting corruption at night

The release-note wording records issue descriptions, not a guarantee that every system or game configuration will behave identically.

Are those the newest Intel Arc driver fixes?

No. The December 2024 notes are a historical record. The Intel Windows graphics download page checked October 4, 2026 lists driver 32.0.101.9034 for Arc B-Series, Arc A-Series, and Intel Core Ultra processors with Arc graphics. It lists the Arc B580 among supported products and includes Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 versions in its operating-system support list. The page does not establish that Intel re-tested each of the five game issues in that later release. Check Intel’s current Windows graphics driver listing.

A HotHardware report dated December 23, 2024 discussed version 101.6325 and the same broad set of game fixes. That earlier article date and version differ from Intel’s December 26 release-note document, which names 32.0.101.6332 and 32.0.101.6253. For the exact versions associated with the release-note list above, use Intel’s document rather than blending the two records. Read HotHardware’s December 23, 2024 report.

How should you choose a driver for a Battlemage PC?

For a desktop card such as the Arc B580, check Intel’s download page for the latest package that lists your product and operating system. For a laptop or a prebuilt system, first check the computer maker’s support page: Intel warns that its generic graphics driver may overwrite OEM-customized drivers. An OEM package may be tailored to the system, so this is a compatibility and support choice, not evidence that one route delivers better gaming performance.

Driver route When it fits What to consider
Intel generic package Your Arc product and Windows version are listed on Intel’s download page. Intel warns that installation can replace an OEM-customized driver.
System-OEM package You use a laptop or prebuilt PC and its manufacturer offers a graphics driver for that exact system. Check the manufacturer’s support page for the correct model and package.

How to check and install the appropriate package

  1. Identify your graphics product and Windows version. Confirm the GPU model and whether the system runs Windows 10 22H2 or a supported Windows 11 version.
  2. Check the system maker first if applicable. On a laptop or prebuilt PC, visit the manufacturer’s support page and search by the exact model. Review its graphics-driver option before switching to Intel’s generic package.
  3. Check Intel’s listing for a direct-download route. Open Intel Arc Graphics – Windows, verify that the listed driver supports your GPU and operating system, and use the version currently shown there rather than relying on the 2024 fixes as a current-download recommendation.
  4. Install the package you selected. Follow the installer prompts. If you are using a manufacturer-provided package, use that system’s support instructions.
  5. Recheck the game that prompted the update. Try the same scene or launch sequence where the problem occurred. The historical release notes do not promise a particular result on every system.
