To check whether your PC can run Stellar Blade, compare its processor, graphics card, RAM, Windows version, and installation drive with the game’s published requirements. Sony’s minimum target is 1080p at 60 FPS on Low settings; its recommended target is 1440p at 60 FPS on Medium. These are publisher targets, not a guarantee for every combination of parts.
Stellar Blade PC system requirements
Sony published four PC configurations on May 15, 2025. Each lists Windows 10 64-bit, 16 GB of RAM, and 75 GB of storage. The performance figures are targets paired with the specified graphics preset, not independent benchmark results.

The PlayStation Blog’s full requirements table provides all four tiers. Sony’s Stellar Blade PC page and the Steam listing also confirm the Minimum and Recommended configurations.
How to check your PC’s specs in Windows
- Check Windows, processor, and RAM: Right-click Start and select Settings > System > About. Under Device specifications, check the processor, installed RAM, and system type; it should be 64-bit. Windows specifications shows your edition and version. See Microsoft’s guide to finding Windows device information.
- Check free space on the intended installation drive: Open Settings > System > Storage. If you have more than one drive, use Advanced storage settings > Storage used on other drives to inspect the others. Compare the available space on the drive where you plan to install the game with the listed 75 GB.
- Check the CPU model if needed: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, select Performance, then CPU. The view shows the processor model as well as its cores and logical processors. Compare the model with the CPUs listed for your target tier; Sony specifies CPU models, not a core-count threshold. Microsoft explains the Task Manager view in its guide to checking processor cores.
- Identify the graphics card: Check your PC or graphics-card maker’s system information utility, or use Device Manager to find the GPU model. Compare the exact model and, where the requirement specifies it, video memory (VRAM) with the table above. The Microsoft guidance linked here does not document a particular GPU-identification workflow.
- Choose a target and compare every requirement: For the Minimum target, check the listed CPU and GPU along with 16 GB RAM, 64-bit Windows, and storage. For Recommended, also make sure the 75 GB installation is on an SSD. For High or Very High, compare the GPU and intended resolution and preset as well as the other listed components.
How to interpret a match or a near-match
Check CPU and GPU alongside RAM, Windows, and storage; having enough RAM by itself does not establish that a PC meets a tier. Sony lists the same CPU examples and RAM amount for Recommended, High, and Very High, while the GPU and target settings rise across those tiers.

If one component falls between the named examples, the official requirements do not establish a guaranteed frame rate for that mixed configuration. They also do not resolve differences in laptop power limits: a laptop GPU with a similar family number to a desktop card should not be treated as an automatic equivalent. Consider your actual GPU model and system configuration rather than relying on a partial name match.
An SSD is recommended at Minimum and required for the published Recommended, High, and Very High configurations. If you are considering an internal SSD upgrade, check that it is compatible with your PC and that the installation drive will have the required space.
