What happened in the reported PNY RMA
In a March 31, 2026 post on r/pcmasterrace, Reddit user lulnerdge wrote: “5070 died completely, PNY sent me a 5070TI to replace it. RMA process was fast too.” The user also called the outcome a “free $400 upgrade.” That dollar figure is the poster’s characterization, not a verified valuation; graphics-card prices vary by date and seller.
HotHardware reported the account that day, noting that the precise RTX 5070 Ti variant was unclear. The user did not provide dates that would establish how long the RMA took. The reported account is not independently verified by a PNY statement or an RMA case record, so the replacement and the speed of service should be attributed to the user rather than treated as confirmed company policy.

These are listed specifications, not a gaming benchmark. Actual performance depends on the game, settings, system and specific card. NVIDIA describes the RTX 5070 Ti as based on its Blackwell architecture and supporting DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation; any performance figures published by NVIDIA are vendor claims, not independent test results.

For a specific failed card, check the warranty terms and contact PNY support about that case. The available account gives no basis for predicting whether another customer will receive an RTX 5070 Ti, the same model, or a different resolution.
