Does my LG product qualify for cashback?

How to check issue-related LG store credit
LG says a customer eligible for return authorization may also be eligible for store credit. The page describes a support review, not a self-service model-number lookup, so contact LG and ask whether your specific product issue qualifies. - Explain the product issue and ask support to check eligibility for return authorization and store credit.
- If LG determines the report is eligible, look for a Service Credit Form sent by SMS and submit it for verification.
- After submission, LG says confirmation that qualifying credit is ready generally arrives by email within 24–48 hours, subject to verification.
The credit is LG Reward Points for spending on LG.com; it is not cash and cannot be redeemed as cash, according to LG’s program page.
How to check MyLG Rewards points
MyLG Rewards is a points program, not a cashback payment. LG USA states that 100 points equal $1 toward a future eligible purchase. Points typically become available 20–35 days after purchase, once the return period has passed, and expire five years after they are issued. These are program details stated on LG’s MyLG Rewards Program page; check the current terms and your account for the rules applicable to your activity.
Do not assume that buying any LG product automatically earns points: check the program terms, account requirements, and any member offer attached to the product or purchase.

A product being an LG appliance, TV, or other device does not by itself make it eligible for a promotion. Use the offer page and full terms that apply to your purchase. Compare each item below before submitting a claim:

- Exact model number: Match the full model number, not just the product family or brand.
- Purchase date: Check that the transaction falls within the offer’s stated purchase period.
- Claim deadline and method: Note whether a separate claim is required after purchase, where to file it, and the deadline.
- Proof and other conditions: Check required documents, service prerequisites, product or bundle combinations, exclusions, and any other terms.
- Returns or cancellations: Check whether canceling or returning the purchase voids the reward.
Keep the receipt and any required order or product details until the claim is resolved. If a term is unclear, ask LG or the named retailer before assuming the product qualifies.
Example: LG’s 2026 U.S. TV and NFL Shop offer
One time-limited example shows why the dates and claim rules matter: LG’s TV & NFL Shop Reward Offer listed a purchase period of September 14 through October 4, 2026, and advertised an NFL Shop eGift Card reward of up to $200 for eligible purchasers. The page required a claim within 30 days of purchase and said a qualifying product must not be canceled or returned or the reward may be forfeited. These terms apply to that specific offer only; they are not a standing LG cashback policy.
The same page distinguishes among exact TV and mount combinations, TV and stand combinations, and installation benefits with service requirements. A broad match to a product category is not enough when an offer specifies a model combination or service prerequisite. Always follow the current full terms for the promotion you are claiming.
Is LG cashback paid as cash or store credit?
For the LG USA benefits covered here, issue-related store credit and MyLG Rewards are points, not money paid out as cash. A separate promotion can specify a different reward, such as an eGift card, so check the offer’s stated reward and redemption conditions rather than relying on the word “cashback.”
