There is no verified PC version of Ghost of Yōtei to troubleshoot. Sucker Punch’s official FAQ identifies the game as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, with support for PlayStation 5 Pro. The available official information does not list PC system requirements, a PC storefront release, or a PC launch date. That means PC crash, stuttering, and launch fixes circulating online are not established as fixes for this game.
Why PC troubleshooting advice does not apply
Because the supported release identified by Sucker Punch is for PS5 and PS5 Pro, there is no verified PC build whose drivers, graphics settings, files, or launch options can be diagnosed from these sources. Do not install utilities or change PC settings on the assumption that they fix a PC copy of Ghost of Yōtei. A supposed PC listing or download should be treated cautiously unless it is confirmed by the developer or an official storefront.

A secondary PC-status tracker also reports that no PC release is available, but any account it gives of Sony’s internal decisions is reporting, not an official Sony announcement: PC Game Benchmark’s PC-status page.
What the official crash-fix notes actually say
Sucker Punch’s historical PS5 patch notes describe specific crash fixes. They are evidence of fixes made to particular game situations, not a general repair guide, a description of current unresolved problems, or evidence of a PC port.

- An unconventional story and journey, take in the cultural beauty of Japan, bathe in an onsen, visit shrines to pray, try Sumi-e painting, and so much more.
- Choose your weapon, battle Atsu's opponents as you see fit, with levelled-up dual katanas, odachi, kusarigama and other new weapons.
- Patch 1.010 fixed a rare crash that could occur with ray tracing enabled and a rare crash in a particular mission situation.
- Patch 1.011 fixed several crashes related to memory issues.
- The official patch archive also records rare crash fixes in named gameplay situations in Patch 1.008.
These notes concern the released PlayStation game. They do not show that those issues remain unfixed for players now, explain general stuttering, or apply to an unverified PC build. The archive’s retrieved version information predates the announced October 2026 update, so Patch 1.602 should not be described as the current latest patch without checking the live archive.
What the October 2026 announcement means
PlayStation announced that the Complete Edition and patch v.2.0 would arrive on October 1, 2026 globally, and October 2 in some territories. The announcement describes a PlayStation update schedule; it does not announce a PC release. Check PlayStation’s announcement for the applicable territory and current details.

If you are having a problem on PS5
For an actual PS5 crash or other game issue, use the official support request route linked from Sucker Punch’s support and patch-notes page. The published material cited here does not establish a step-by-step console repair procedure, so PC advice such as updating graphics drivers, verifying files, or changing overlays should not be presented as a solution for this PlayStation issue.
