These are the requirements listed on Steam’s Starsand Island support page, checked October 4, 2026. Compare your CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows version, DirectX support, and free storage against the table. If a component is below minimum, investigate that gap first; meeting the minimum does not guarantee smooth performance, while being below recommended does not prove that component is causing your symptoms.
When RAM may be worth checking
If your PC has less than the listed recommended 16 GB of memory, check whether a compatible upgrade is possible. A memory kit is a conditional option, not a diagnosed fix: the published requirement does not show that RAM is responsible for any particular player’s stutter.

Identify what kind of performance problem you have
“Performance problems” can describe different symptoms. Note which one you experience and when it occurs before changing hardware or assuming a cause.
- Consistently low FPS: The game appears slow most of the time. Compare your system with the CPU and graphics requirements as well as memory.
- Brief stutters or hitches: The game pauses momentarily, even if it otherwise runs acceptably. Record what is happening at the time.
- Input delay: Actions seem to register late. This is different from a measured drop in frame rate.
- A recurring pause during one activity: Note the exact activity, such as Daily Commissions refreshing, and whether the interruption happens repeatedly.
Community posts describe different experiences on different systems, including one report of lower frame rates as a farm expanded. Check whether an official update addressed your specific symptom
The official update notes describe two targeted changes. They are useful clues when your symptom matches the stated situation, but they do not promise a general FPS improvement.

Report a persistent problem with useful details
Steam identifies Seed Sparkle Lab as the developer and publisher, lists Official Support, and provides starsandisland2024@gmail.com as the support contact on its technical support page.
When contacting support, consider including your PC’s CPU, GPU and RAM, your game version, the symptom (low FPS, a brief hitch or input delay), and the activity or moment that reproduces it. These are practical report details, not stated developer requirements.
