Before you start: check compatibility and your PDF
Tenorshare’s PDNob user guide, last updated July 28, 2026, says the editor is compatible with Windows 10 64-bit and newer, and macOS 10.15 and above. The guide lists minimum disk space of 2.5 GB on Windows and 5 GB on Mac, and recommends at least 1 GB of memory. Registration and activation require an internet connection; the guide does not establish whether editing works offline after activation. See the PDNob user guide and technical specifications for current details.
Make a copy of the original PDF before editing if you may need to restore it. If the PDF contains selectable text, you can work with that text directly. If it is a scan or otherwise image-based, OCR is the relevant feature for recognizing text before editing or searching. Recognition can introduce mistakes, so proofread names, figures, punctuation, and line breaks against the page image.
Edit existing text
PDNob’s feature page lists text editing, and Tenorshare says its editor can adjust text spacing, line height, fonts, and styles. The product materials do not establish exact control names for every current desktop build, so use the controls shown in your installed version rather than relying on a fixed click sequence.

- Open the PDF in PDNob and choose its text-editing function.
- Select the text object you want to change, then make the correction or adjust its formatting using the available controls.
- Inspect the surrounding lines and page. Check spacing, alignment, line breaks, and whether the change has affected nearby content.
- Save or export the edited document, then open the output and verify the correction in context.
Editing behavior can depend on how the PDF was created and how its content is encoded. If text cannot be selected as text, it may be part of a scanned image; use OCR rather than assuming the page contains editable text.
Change or replace an image
Tenorshare’s guide describes image editing that includes cropping, replacing, and optimizing images. The exact result can vary with the image and PDF layout.
- Open the PDF’s image-editing function and select the image you want to change.
- Use the available controls to adjust or crop it, or replace it where the editor allows.
- Check the image’s placement, crop, proportions, and visual quality against the surrounding page.
- Save or export, then inspect the output at normal viewing size and at a closer zoom.
Insert, extract, or replace pages
PDNob lists inserting, extracting, and replacing PDF pages among its page operations. Its official product materials also list rearranging, merging, splitting, and rotating pages, but availability may differ between desktop and mobile editions. Consult the PDNob product page for platform-specific feature information.

Insert a page
Use the page-management function to add the required page or pages, then check their position and orientation in the document.

Extract pages
Select the pages to extract and create the separate output. Verify that the extracted file contains the intended pages and that the original remains as you expect.
Replace pages
Choose the page or range to replace and supply the replacement content using the available page controls. Check the result for order, page size, and orientation, especially where the replacement came from a different PDF.

Because button names and workflows can change between versions, follow the labels in your installed build; the official feature listing confirms these operations but does not provide a fully documented click-by-click sequence for each one.

- Reopen the saved or exported file rather than checking only the editor view.
- Confirm the text, images, and page order are correct and that no unintended layout changes occurred.
- If the document was scanned, proofread OCR-recognized content against the original page.
- Before sharing a trial export, check whether it carries a watermark.
Trial limits and account devices
Tenorshare’s purchase FAQ says the trial has no time limit, but it has feature restrictions. The FAQ states that the first 20 exported files are watermark-free; PDF conversion and OCR are limited to once per week; and batch operations support up to five files. It also lists 2 GB of trial cloud storage with a 15 MB per-file limit, along with limits on AI features. These terms can change, so check the current purchase FAQ before relying on a particular allowance.

OCR and other format features
Tenorshare’s technical specifications list OCR language support and conversions from PDF to formats including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, text, RTF, EPUB, and PDF/A. The specifications distinguish some capabilities by operating system, so check the platform details before relying on a particular feature. Tenorshare also advertises 99% OCR accuracy on its product materials; that is a vendor claim, not an independently validated measurement, and OCR output should still be reviewed.
