How do I find AVITA Altum drivers after installing Windows?

- Use a manual driver only when needed. Find a driver from AVITA or the relevant component manufacturer that matches the laptop’s complete model identifier and the installed Windows version and architecture. If the download is compressed, extract it. In Device Manager, right-click the affected device and select Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers, then select the extracted folder.
Microsoft advises users to “Avoid downloading drivers from any websites other than the manufacturer’s official site.” A driver utility or package from an unrelated download site is not a substitute for a model-matched official driver.
Where can I download AVITA Altum drivers?
Start with AVITA’s official support information for the region where the laptop is supported. Contact AVITA support for the laptop’s region if Windows Update and the manufacturer’s documented materials do not resolve the missing device. AVITA’s Hong Kong support page says laptop technical support and maintenance have been handled by its in-house engineer and customer-service team since 2022-08-09; it lists Hong Kong and Taiwan contacts. Use the current support route for your own region rather than assuming those contacts apply everywhere: AVITA Hong Kong support.
When you contact support, include the laptop’s complete model identifier and the missing device’s hardware ID. To find the hardware ID, open Device Manager, right-click the affected device, choose Properties, open the Details tab, and select Hardware Ids in the property list. This helps support identify the device; it does not by itself establish which driver is safe to install.

Windows also supports uninstalling a device driver and restarting so Windows can attempt to reinstall it, but use that only when appropriate for the device and preferably with manufacturer guidance. For a device that remains unidentified or nonfunctional, provide its hardware ID to AVITA support instead of repeatedly installing unverified packages.
