That opens the campaign route; it does not mean you must first reach Revered. Revered is a separate requirement for Legion Pathfinder, while a class mount also requires completion of both the class campaign and the Legionfall campaign.
Blizzard’s descriptions document the 2017 launch-era sequence. They do not establish one universal character-level requirement or account-wide skip rule for the current live game, so use the quests offered to your character as the practical guide.
How to unlock the Armies of Legionfall
- Start the Broken Shore introduction. In the original Patch 7.2 flow, Khadgar offered max-level characters a quest leading into a solo Broken Shore scenario. Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 Preview: Return to the Broken Shore, published March 15, 2017, describes this launch-era route.
- Complete the scenario and reach Deliverance Point. Deliverance Point becomes the Broken Shore foothold and base of operations for the Class Orders working alongside the Armies of Legionfall.
- Continue the Broken Shore campaign. Follow the story quests available in the zone. This is the campaign progression associated with Legionfall access and reputation.
- Do Broken Shore World Quests and participate in building activity for reputation. Blizzard identifies Broken Shore World Quests, story quests, and constructing buildings as sources of Armies of Legionfall reputation. World Quests also award Legionfall War Supplies, which are used in the zone’s building effort.
If the opening quest or scenario is not appearing, check your quest log and the Broken Shore or Dalaran quests available to your character. The historical launch flow does not establish that every current character must see the same offer or complete the same steps; current level rules and account-wide skips are not confirmed by the cited Blizzard pages.
Which Legionfall requirement are you trying to meet?
| Goal | Requirement | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Reach Legionfall content | Broken Shore introduction and foothold at Deliverance Point in the original Patch 7.2 flow. | This is the campaign access route; Revered is not presented as an entry requirement. |
| Earn Legion Pathfinder progress | Revered with the Armies of Legionfall, among other Legion Pathfinder criteria. | This is a reputation threshold for the flying achievement, not the basic faction unlock. |
| Unlock a class mount | Complete both the class campaign and Legionfall campaign, then complete the class-specific mount quests. | Faction access alone does not unlock the mount. |
| Access the quartermaster | Wowhead reports level 45 and completion of Assault on the Broken Shore. | This is a guide-reported quartermaster requirement, not proof of a universal current prerequisite for all Legionfall content. |
How to reach Revered with the Armies of Legionfall
Earn reputation through Broken Shore story quests, World Quests, and building activity. Blizzard’s Unlocking Flying in Legion lists Revered with the Armies of Legionfall among the Legion Pathfinder requirements and says players begin earning this reputation from the first Patch 7.2 quest, Assault on the Broken Shore. Pathfinder has other criteria too, so Revered by itself does not complete the achievement.

What to know about level requirements and skips
Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 preview used “max-level” for the characters offered the original Broken Shore scenario. That is a historical description of the 2017 launch flow, not confirmation of the current live-game level gate. Separately, Wowhead’s level 45 figure concerns quartermaster access. These references address different circumstances, so neither should be treated as a universal current unlock rule.
The cited Blizzard material also does not establish whether a character can skip the introduction or benefit from an account-wide unlock. If your character’s available quests differ from the original sequence, follow the in-game quest log and check the Broken Shore and Dalaran quest offers rather than assuming a skip is available or required.

Why class mounts require more campaign progress
Blizzard’s Legion Patch 7.2 Survival Guide says the class campaign and Legionfall campaign must be complete before the subsequent class-mount quests become available. Treat this as a later objective than reaching Deliverance Point or earning faction reputation; after completing both campaigns, continue with the quests specific to your class.
