The developer says players can choose how to spend each day and decide whether to rush or take a slower pace. That describes flexibility, not a numerical playtime range. It is therefore not sound to convert the activity list into a guessed number of hours.
What early coverage does—and does not—tell us
A PC Gamer report dated September 30, 2026 describes the writer’s early, ongoing play and expectation of spending many hours with the business simulation. It does not report a finished main-story run or a completionist total, so it should not be read as a measured completion time.

When player data or completed reviews begin reporting times, compare like with like rather than treating every figure as the answer to “How long to beat Nivalis Nights?”
- Main story: a run focused on finishing the narrative.
- Main story plus sides: the story together with optional quests or other side content, if the source defines what it includes.
- Completionist: a broader effort to finish optional content or reach other stated completion goals.
For any published figure, check whether it is a logged player average, a reviewer’s completed run, or an estimate; note the sample size and date if the source provides them. Different categories and methods can produce different totals.
