Save the whole webpage with Firefox’s screenshot tool

Open the webpage in Firefox and let the content you need load.

Right-click an empty area of the page and select Take Screenshot.

In the screenshot interface, choose Save full page.

Inspect the preview, then select Download. Firefox saves the downloaded screenshot as a PNG; Firefox generates the filename.
If right-clicking the page is awkward, Mozilla also documents access to the screenshot interface through Firefox’s browser UI. The exact menu placement or wording may vary as Firefox changes; Mozilla’s current instructions are in Take screenshots in Firefox, last updated June 15, 2026.

Use Firefox Developer Tools as an alternative
Firefox’s Developer Tools documentation describes an alternate way to capture an entire page using the screenshot command with its full-page option. This route is useful if you are comfortable working in Developer Tools or want an alternative when the ordinary screenshot interface does not give you the result you need. Check the image, especially on dynamic pages
A full-page capture may not reproduce every page exactly as it appears during normal browsing. Inspect the downloaded image if the webpage is unusually long, loads content as you scroll, uses sticky or fixed elements, or contains embedded frames. Mozilla documents the capture workflow, but does not guarantee identical results for every site.

If the built-in capture still looks incomplete, try the Developer Tools route.

For a very long page that remains difficult to capture or review, capture a smaller section instead.

When to consider an add-on
A Firefox add-on is not required for an ordinary full-page PNG. Consider one only if you need extra editing or export options. The listing for Full Page Screenshot & Webpage to PDF advertises full-page capture, cropping, annotation, privacy blurring, and PNG, JPG, or PDF output. Those are features advertised by the listing, not independently verified comparisons. Before installing, check its current Firefox compatibility and requested permissions.
