Google Antigravity now has a Google Play listing published by Google LLC, but a Play Store page does not mean it is ready for every Android phone. Google describes the app as a development platform for building and deploying apps on a Googlebook; a September 30, 2026 report said it was then limited to Googlebook OS and that phone compatibility was unclear.
What is Google Antigravity?
Google describes Antigravity as an agent-first development platform. Its Play listing says the app provides a mission-control interface for working with autonomous background agents, which users can steer and customize. Google says those agents can write, edit and manage code, projects and files on the device, and that users can create and deploy apps on a Googlebook. Google’s official Antigravity site also presents the product as an agentic development platform, with Antigravity 2.0, CLI, SDK and IDE surfaces. It lists desktop availability for macOS, Windows and Linux; that does not establish that the Play Store app runs on those systems or has the same features.
Can you install it on an Android phone?
Not necessarily. In a report dated September 30, 2026, 9to5Google said the Play Store app was then available only on Googlebook OS. The report did not establish whether it was designed for smaller phone screens or whether it matched the desktop products feature for feature. How to identify the Google app
Check the developer name before installing: the Google Antigravity development tool is published by Google LLC. Google Play also has a separate app named Antigravity from another developer, described as a drone companion for flight management, 360-degree footage and editing. That is not Google’s development platform. The package name reported for Google’s app is com.google.android.apps.antigravity. What the Play Store listing says about downloads and data
When accessed, the Google Play listing showed 1K+ downloads, an Everyone rating, the Productivity category and an update date of September 25, 2026. Store figures and labels can change.

The listing’s developer-provided data-safety disclosure says the app does not share data with third parties; it may collect personal information, messages and five other data types; data is encrypted in transit; and users can request deletion. Google Play cautions that privacy and security practices may vary by use, region and age, and that the developer can update its disclosure.
