This nature-documentary series previewed an episode about elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya and a later episode focused on diving in the Bahamas.

What is Apple Immersive Video?
Apple describes Apple Immersive Video as “3D video recorded in 8K with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio.” In practical terms, the format is designed for viewing inside Vision Pro: stereoscopic imagery gives scenes depth, the very wide field of view fills much of the viewer’s sightline, and Spatial Audio places sound in the surrounding virtual space.

The 8K and 180-degree figures are Apple’s format specifications, not audience, adoption, or performance statistics.
Where can you watch Apple Immersive Video?
Apple’s July 2024 announcement said the listed content was available at no additional cost through the Apple TV app in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States. For mainland China, Apple named the Migu Video and Tencent Video apps.
Apple also stated that titles vary by country or region and that new pieces debuted in U.S. English with subtitles in additional languages. Availability is volatile, so check the Apple TV app and the Vision Pro experience in your country before assuming a particular episode is offered.
Apple’s March 2025 update continued to emphasize regional variation and mentioned VIP: Yankee Stadium and Bono: Stories of Surrender; the latter was announced as an immersive edition alongside its Apple TV+ release.

How did the lineup develop after the 2024 announcement?
In an October 2025 Vision Pro announcement, Apple gave later examples of Apple Immersive series and films available through the Apple TV app. It named Metallica, Submerged, The Weeknd: Open Hearts, and VIP: Yankee Stadium, along with Tour De Force from CANAL+ and MotoGP, a World of Red Bull episode about backcountry skiing, and an Elevated episode set above Maine.
Those examples show that the slate expanded beyond the original July 2024 announcement. They are not a complete, guaranteed current catalog; Apple’s dated product updates do not replace a live country-by-country availability listing.

Apple Vision Pro is the viewing device Apple identifies for Apple Immersive Video. The experiences are delivered through supported video apps rather than requiring a separate camera or editing system.
For creators
Apple said its production workflow with Blackmagic Design would include a Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera plus updated DaVinci Resolve Studio and Apple Compressor. These tools are for capturing, editing, and delivering immersive productions; they are not accessories an ordinary Vision Pro viewer needs.
