The fastest legitimate way to earn Microsoft Rewards points is to complete the activities and offers shown in your Rewards dashboard, then use Bing for ordinary searches while signed in to the linked Microsoft account. Search caps, point values, and other opportunities vary by level and region, so check your own dashboard rather than relying on a universal daily total. Microsoft’s reviewed sources do not establish that any one tactic is fastest for every member.
Microsoft Rewards is free to join with a valid Microsoft account in a participating region, for personal, noncommercial use. Its possible earning routes include Bing searches, dashboard activities, qualifying Microsoft Store purchases, and selected Xbox gameplay or quests; availability and conditions vary. Offers may expire or require you to claim points on the dashboard.
How to earn Microsoft Rewards points
1. Check and complete dashboard activities
- Sign in to the Microsoft account linked to Rewards and open rewards.bing.com.
- Review the available activities, such as quizzes or trivia, and read each offer’s conditions.
- Complete activities that suit you. If an offer requires you to claim points on the dashboard, do so within its stated time.
- Check the dashboard again to confirm what was credited and what remains available.
Activities and offers vary by region and account. A dashboard activity is not necessarily available every day, and another member’s offer may not apply to you.
2. Search normally and watch your counters
Use Bing for genuine searches while signed in to the account connected to Rewards. Stop when the PC or mobile counter shown for your account is full. Do not assume a search-count cap means a particular points total in every market.

Microsoft’s current US Rewards overview lists 5 points per PC search, with daily caps of 50 points at Level 1 and 150 at Level 2 or Level 2 plus Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Its mobile table lists 5 points per search and a 100-point daily cap for Level 2 and Level 2 plus Ultimate. Separately, the Bing FAQ describes up to 10 eligible searches per day for Level 1 and up to 30 for Level 2. These figures have different scopes; they are not a universal promise. Check the counters and terms that apply to your account.
The US overview says Level 2 requires earning at least 500 points in a month, and its Level 2 plus Ultimate tier requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Levels and benefits may differ by region. Do not subscribe just for points unless the offer is visible to you and the subscription independently makes sense.

3. Consider qualifying purchases or Xbox offers only when relevant
Qualifying Microsoft Store purchases and selected Xbox gameplay or quests may earn points when an eligible offer is available to your account. These routes can involve spending money, a subscription, gameplay, eligibility requirements, or a temporary offer. Check the current dashboard and terms before acting; do not buy or subscribe solely on the expectation of points.
What not to do: unsafe Rewards “hacks”
Do not use bots, macros, scripts, automated queries, or location-masking tools to inflate earnings. Microsoft’s Bing FAQ lists automated queries as a reason searches may not earn points. The Microsoft Services Agreement warns that using a VPN or other location-masking technology may result in cancellation of a Rewards account and forfeiture of points.

Repeated artificial searches are not a reliable shortcut. Use ordinary searches, respect the account’s displayed counters, and follow the offer conditions. Microsoft describes Rewards as a personal-use program, not a way to multiply earnings through commercial or artificial activity.

- Wrong account: Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft account linked to Rewards.
- Full counter: Check whether the PC or mobile search counter has reached its limit.
- Browser data not syncing: Allow account and browser data to synchronize, then check the dashboard again.
- Give Mode: Check whether Give Mode affects how points appear.
- Offer not claimed: Some offers require you to claim points on the dashboard within a specified time.
If points still do not appear, consult the current Rewards help and terms for your region rather than trying automated searches or a VPN.
