Insider Gaming reported on October 2, 2026, that nine entries appeared in the Xbox app’s “Leaving Soon” section with a listed removal date of October 15, 2026. The report is a time-sensitive account of an in-app listing, not a direct Microsoft announcement, so verify the date and platform in your own Xbox app before planning your playtime or purchase.
Games listed as leaving Xbox Game Pass
The reported list contains these nine entries:
| Game | Platform detail reported | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Superball | Not stated | Whether the listing concerns the game itself or a related Game Pass benefit |
| Donut County | Not stated | Availability on your platform |
| A Plague Tale: Requiem | Not stated | Availability on your platform |
| Nova Roma (Game Preview) | Game Preview edition | Availability and Game Preview status in the app |
| Crime Scene Cleaner | Not stated | Availability on your platform |
| Evil West (Windows) | Windows entry specifically identified by the report | Whether a console or cloud version is also listed for your account |
| The Casting of Frank Stone | Not stated | Availability on your platform |
| Pacific Drive | Not stated | Availability on your platform |
| Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 | Not stated | Availability on your platform |
The source gives a count of nine reported entries; it does not independently establish that every platform version is affected.
When are they leaving?
The reported departure date is October 15, 2026. The available reporting does not establish the exact time removals take effect, and catalog status can change. Treat October 15 as the date shown in the report rather than a guaranteed removal time for every region or platform.
How to check your own Xbox listing
- Open the Xbox app or the relevant Game Pass catalog on your device.
- Open the Leaving Soon section.
- Search for each title you care about and check the platform label, edition and displayed date.
- For Evil West, confirm whether the listing is Windows-only for you or whether another platform version appears separately.
- For Superball, read the listing details carefully; the report does not establish whether the game itself is leaving or whether an associated Game Pass benefit is changing.
What happens if you are playing one of these games?
Game Pass provides access to games in its library while your subscription is active. A listing as “Leaving Soon” means you should not assume continued catalog access after the displayed departure date. The report used for this list does not verify current Game Pass plan prices, member discounts or the purchase terms that might apply to an individual title.

If you need more time
- Check the in-app listing first, because the date and platform scope are subject to change.
- Prioritize the games you most want to finish rather than relying on an assumed removal time on October 15.
- If you decide to buy a game, review the current store page and account-specific pricing; no current discount is established by the report.
Important qualifications about this list
- The list comes from an October 2, 2026 Insider Gaming report describing entries seen in the Xbox app, not from a Microsoft announcement directly cited in that report.
- Platform coverage was not independently confirmed for every title. A game appearing in one platform’s Leaving Soon section does not by itself prove that its console or cloud version is affected.
- Superball requires extra caution because the report does not explain whether the game or a related benefit is the item changing.
- Because Game Pass catalogs are volatile, recheck the current app before starting a long playthrough or making a purchase.
The Bottom Line
Insider Gaming’s October 2 report lists nine Xbox Game Pass entries for removal on October 15, 2026. Confirm each title, platform and effective timing in the Xbox app—especially Evil West (Windows) and Superball—before relying on the list.
