The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →This week’s roundup names eight products across seven article entries: two Spyderco knives, an EDC multi-tool, a Japanese Damascus knife, a WE Knife folder, two Benchmade Kitsari variants, and Orioner’s compact utility knife. The number eight counts the two Kitsari model numbers separately; the source groups them together. The available details are uneven, so this is a release roundup—not a hands-on comparison or performance ranking.
Which products are in this week’s roundup?
Gear Patrol’s article, labeled as published three hours before access on October 3, 2026, names the following products. Its URL slug says “7 New Knives and Multi-Tools,” while the headline says eight and the body groups the two Kitsari variants in one section. Counting those variants separately accounts for the headline total.

What is notable about the Orioner MS-08?
The MS-08 is the roundup’s most fully described item. Its small, key-sized format and gravity-action deployment distinguish it from the named folders and multi-tool, while interchangeable blades offer several edge styles for light cutting. The article describes standard, ceramic, hook, and serrated blade options; it does not establish comparative cutting performance or suitability for demanding work. Gear Patrol
Gear Patrol displayed a Kickstarter price callout of $39, crossed out from $60 and labeled 35% off. That is a campaign price, not a dependable current retail price. Check the campaign’s current status, availability, and exact offer before treating the figure as available.

Its Victorinox section includes a subsection titled “SMKW Exclusive Strangelove Tinker” followed by copy describing a Kizer pumpkin Madrac, an apparent inconsistency.
