How do you automatically record selected calls with Google Phone?
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap More options → Settings → Call recording.
- Under Always record, enable recording for numbers not in your contacts or for selected numbers.
- If you choose selected numbers, add the contacts you want recorded.
Automatic recording and automatic deletion are not available in every market. Automatic recording starts only when the call is eligible and answered; it does not bypass Google Phone’s hold or conference-call restrictions.
Where does Google Phone save recordings?
Open Phone → Home, select the caller, and tap the recording. For older calls, tap History first. You can play the recording or use Share to send it to a supported app.

Is Samsung Phone the best call recorder for Galaxy phones?
Samsung Phone is the best starting point for Galaxy owners whose phones run supported software. Samsung says integrated call recording is available on Galaxy devices using One UI 7.0 or later. Samsung also documents transcription, translation, and summary features on supported devices, but those capabilities vary by model, language, account, region, and software.

Samsung indicates that an account and internet connection may be required for some transcription or AI-related functions. A transcription or summary feature is separate from the underlying audio recording and does not prove that every call route is recorded successfully.
How do you check Samsung call recording?
On many supported Galaxy phones, open the Phone app and look under Recents or More options → Settings → Call recording. Labels and menu placement can vary by One UI version and market.
If the menu is missing, update One UI and the Samsung Phone app, confirm that Samsung Phone is the default dialer, check the country and carrier limitation, and search the phone’s settings for call recording. Do not assume that installing a different recorder will restore a feature disabled by the carrier or regional firmware.

Is Talker ACR a good alternative to Cube ACR?

Is Google Voice a call recording app?
Google Voice is better understood as a phone service with recording than as an app that records ordinary SIM calls. Does Google Voice record normal cellular calls?
No. Google Voice records calls handled through a Google Voice number, not arbitrary calls made through the normal SIM dialer. Personal accounts can record incoming Google Voice calls, while Google documents call recording for certain paid standalone plans.
Why does my Android recording contain only my voice?
The usual possibilities are an incompatible audio source, Android or manufacturer restrictions, microphone-only capture, Wi-Fi calling, Bluetooth routing, speakerphone requirements, or a conflict with another recorder or assistant app. Test a different source, handset and speaker modes, Wi-Fi calling, and conflicting apps.
Where are Google Phone call recordings saved?
Google Phone stores recordings on the device and ties them to the call log. Open Phone, select the caller from Home or History, and tap the recording. Deleting the associated call log also deletes the recording, and the Phone app does not back up recordings off-device.

Bottom line: Start with the built-in Google Phone or Samsung Phone recorder for ordinary cellular calls. Use Cube ACR or Talker ACR only when you specifically need VoIP recording and can verify both voices on your phone. Choose Google Voice when you are willing to use a separate US number. Whatever method you use, confirm the exact hardware and audio route, protect the recording, and obtain consent whenever the law requires it.
