The 10 Hot Cybersecurity Tools Announced At RSAC 2025 were actually 10 announcement packages unveiled or highlighted on April 28, 2025, including platform updates, new modules, expanded coverage, and a red-team service. The strongest themes were agentic security operations, AI governance, identity protection, software-supply-chain visibility, and automated response.

RSAC Conference 2025 ran in San Francisco from April 28 through May 1, 2025, so this is a retrospective of the opening-day product news—not a claim that every capability was generally available at launch. The original roundup’s “10 tools” label also groups CrowdStrike’s two Charlotte AI capabilities and Abnormal AI’s two agents, while separately mentioning NetRise ZeroLens and Wallarm. A more accurate way to read the list is as 10 announcement packages containing the individual products and expansions described below.

Key takeaways

  • CrowdStrike and Abnormal AI each contributed two related capabilities, which explains why the original roundup’s 10-tool count does not equal 10 completely separate products.
  • Palo Alto Networks said Cortex Exposure Management could reduce vulnerability noise by up to 99%, but that figure is a vendor claim rather than independent validation.
  • Agentic features ranged from analyst assistance to AI reasoning inside SOAR playbooks, so buyers must examine permissions, approvals, audit logs, rollback, and hallucination controls.
  • Netskope, Silverfort, Apiiro, and NetRise focused on increasingly important inventories: sensitive data, non-human identities, software relationships, and compiled binaries.
  • Most products were enterprise sales-led offerings, and the RSAC announcement did not by itself establish general availability, pricing, regional availability, or production readiness.

What did RSAC 2025 actually announce?

RSAC 2025 produced a mixture of new products, major platform updates, new modules, expanded coverage, and professional services rather than 10 identical standalone tools. The opening-day roundup from CRN grouped related launches together, which is why the list contains more than 10 individual capabilities when each feature is counted separately.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The distinction matters for buyers. Cortex XSIAM 3.0 was a version update to an existing platform; Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows was a capability inside Falcon Fusion SOAR; Bugcrowd Red Team as a Service was a security service; and several other entries expanded an existing vendor platform. “Announced” should not be interpreted as “generally available for immediate purchase.”

Which AI-powered security operations tools stood out?

1. Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM 3.0

Cortex XSIAM 3.0 was an updated version of Palo Alto Networks’ AI-powered security-operations platform, positioned by the vendor as a SIEM alternative. The announcement added advanced email security for sophisticated phishing and LLM-enhanced email threats, automated removal of malicious messages, compromised-account disabling, and Cortex Exposure Management for vulnerability prioritization and remediation.

Palo Alto Networks said Cortex Exposure Management could reduce vulnerability noise by up to 99%. That is a Palo Alto Networks claim reported in the CRN announcement roundup, not an independently verified average or benchmark. Buyers should test the result against their own asset inventory, vulnerability data, prioritization rules, and remediation process.

Best fit: Large enterprises seeking consolidation across endpoint, network, identity, email, and exposure-management functions.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Important trade-off: A broad platform may reduce tool sprawl but increase vendor concentration, migration effort, and dependence on one telemetry and licensing model. “SIEM alternative” is positioning language, so a proof of concept should compare ingestion, retention, search, detection, compliance reporting, and incident-response requirements with the organization’s existing SIEM.

Automated message deletion and account disabling also require approval policies, exception handling, audit trails, and recovery procedures. A false positive that removes a legitimate email or disables a critical employee account can create an operational incident.

2. CrowdStrike Charlotte AI Agentic Response

Charlotte AI Agentic Response was introduced to help security-operations investigators answer common questions, analyze root causes, map lateral movement, and recommend the next investigative actions. The feature is best understood as an investigation assistant rather than a replacement for human analysts.

The value depends heavily on the quality and breadth of telemetry available through Falcon. Organizations already standardized on CrowdStrike Falcon are likely to have a clearer adoption path than organizations expecting a tool-agnostic investigation layer. CrowdStrike’s announcement archive is the appropriate place to verify current product packaging and availability rather than assuming the RSAC launch status remains unchanged.

Buyer checks: Ask whether recommendations are explainable, whether source events are shown, how analyst approvals are recorded, what happens when telemetry is incomplete, and whether hostile content can manipulate the assistant’s context. Any response action should be permission-limited, logged, reversible, and tested against benign edge cases.

3. CrowdStrike Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows

Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows adds large-language-model reasoning to automated playbooks in Falcon Fusion SOAR. The capability includes drag-and-drop workflow creation and is intended to let teams build playbooks that can reason about conditions rather than only execute rigidly predefined steps.

Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows is a workflow-automation capability within CrowdStrike’s broader platform, not necessarily a separately purchased product. A mature SOC with repeatable playbooks may benefit most, but AI reasoning can scale a poorly designed playbook’s mistakes as efficiently as it scales good decisions.

Before enabling containment, require clear answers to five questions: Can a workflow require human approval? Are prompts, decisions, tool calls, and actions logged? What permissions does the agent receive? How are unsafe actions reversed? Does pricing depend on users, events, data volume, or additional modules?

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

4. Abnormal AI Data Analyst

Abnormal AI Data Analyst was designed to turn large volumes of security data into reports and interactive findings. The described capabilities included proactive report delivery, conversational exploration, and drill-down into particular security-data results.

The feature may help teams with substantial data volumes and limited analyst time, but a conversational interface does not guarantee a correct conclusion. The Abnormal AI product information should be checked for current data-source support and packaging before a purchase decision.

Yubico - YubiKey 5C NFC - Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) Security Key and passkey, Connect via USB-C or NFC, FIDO Certified - Protect Your Online Accounts
  • POWERFUL SECURITY KEY: The YubiKey 5C NFC is the most versatile physical passkey, protecting your digital life from phishing attacks. It ensures only you can access your accounts
  • WORKS WITH 1000+ ACCOUNTS: Compatible with popular accounts like Google, Microsoft, and Apple. A single YubiKey 5C NFC secures 100+ of your favorite accounts, including email, password managers, and more
  • FAST & CONVENIENT LOGIN: Plug in your YubiKey 5C NFC via USB and tap it, or tap it against your phone (NFC), to authenticate. No batteries, no internet connection, and no extra fees required
  • MOST SECURE PASSKEY: Supports FIDO2/WebAuthn, FIDO U2F, Yubico OTP, OATH-TOTP/HOTP, Smart card (PIV), and OpenPGP. That means it’s versatile, working almost anywhere you need it
  • PRIMARY & SPARE KEYS: Just like having a spare house key, we recommend buying two YubiKeys - one for daily use and one as a spare. That way you’ll never get locked out of your accounts

Buyers should ask whether the agent can be restricted to approved datasets, whether every finding is traceable to source records, whether outputs can be exported as audit or incident evidence, and whether prompts or findings are exposed to a third-party model. Security teams should treat unsourced conversational answers as leads for investigation, not as authoritative evidence.

How did RSAC 2025 address phishing, data, and identity risk?

5. Abnormal AI Phishing Coach

Abnormal AI Phishing Coach was announced as an autonomous agent for personalized phishing simulations and immediate coaching. The described approach uses simulations based on real-world attacks blocked by Abnormal AI, followed by individualized training modules.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

“Personalized” should not automatically be read as proof that the system dynamically models every employee’s risk profile. Organizations should confirm how personalization works, what employee data is retained, how campaigns are adjusted by jurisdiction, and whether security-awareness results are used for support or punishment.

Best fit: Organizations that want security-awareness exercises tied more closely to current phishing patterns and their email-defense telemetry.

Main risk: Excessive or overly deceptive campaigns can create employee fatigue, resentment, or privacy concerns. A responsible program defines campaign frequency, communications, accessibility, data retention, and escalation rules before automation is enabled.

6. Netskope DSPM expansion, including Support Safe Training

Netskope’s DSPM expansion extended data-security posture management on the Netskope One platform. The described capabilities included safer training of large language models, controls intended to prevent sensitive or regulated data from being unintentionally fed into LLMs, coverage for human and non-human identities, non-human-identity discovery and classification, and AI-governance policy detection and enforcement.

Free tools Windows power users keep installed

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The platform was also described as supporting eligibility decisions based on data source, classification, or usage context. Netskope’s data-security platform information should be used to confirm current modules and supported AI environments.

DSPM is not a substitute for every data-loss-prevention, access-governance, identity-governance, or application-security control. “Safe training” describes policy and data-control functionality; it does not prove that a model, its weights, plugins, vector database, prompts, caches, logs, or outputs are secure.

Best fit: Enterprises adopting generative AI that need visibility into which data can be used for model training or AI workflows.

Main trade-off: Discovery can expose large quantities of duplicated, stale, misclassified, or ownerless data. Remediation is therefore a governance and ownership project, not merely a software installation.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

7. Huntress Managed ITDR enhancements

Huntress Managed Identity Threat Detection and Response received enhancements aimed at Microsoft 365 identity threats. The announced areas were rogue apps, unwanted access, and shadow workflows.

  • Rogue apps: Protection against malicious or risky OAuth applications installed in Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Unwanted access: Detection and shutdown of compromised identities.
  • Shadow workflows: Monitoring inbox and email-forwarding rules for malicious changes.

These controls target identity attacks that can bypass endpoint-focused defenses, including OAuth abuse, stolen identities, inbox-rule manipulation, and illicit forwarding. Huntress describes the broader service on its Managed ITDR platform page; buyers should confirm which Microsoft 365 permissions and events are monitored today.

Best fit: Small and midsize organizations that need managed identity monitoring without building a dedicated ITDR team.

Rank #3
Yubico - YubiKey 5 NFC - Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) Security Key and passkey, Connect via USB-A or NFC, FIDO Certified - Protect Your Online Accounts
  • POWERFUL SECURITY KEY: The YubiKey 5 NFC is the most versatile physical passkey, protecting your digital life from phishing attacks. It ensures only you can access your accounts
  • WORKS WITH 1000+ ACCOUNTS: Compatible with popular accounts like Google, Microsoft, and Apple. A single YubiKey 5 NFC secures 100+ of your favorite accounts, including email, password managers, and more
  • FAST & CONVENIENT LOGIN: Plug in your YubiKey 5 NFC via USB and tap it, or tap it against your phone (NFC), to authenticate.

Main trade-off: Managed response reduces staffing requirements but gives the provider meaningful authority over identity actions. Customers should define allowlists, approval requirements, tenant access, notification paths, and recovery procedures—especially in hybrid identity environments.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

8. Silverfort’s non-human identity security expansion

Silverfort expanded non-human identity security to cloud identity providers, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS environments, using technology from its acquisition of Rezonate. The announced direction was unified coverage for human and non-human identities, including discovery and classification across those environments.

Non-human identities include service accounts, API keys, workload identities, bots, machine credentials, and automation identities, although vendor definitions can differ. These identities often have broad privileges without the ownership, lifecycle, and monitoring controls applied to human users.

Silverfort’s platform information should be checked for current cloud and SaaS support. Buyers should distinguish discovery from remediation: identifying an identity does not prove that the platform can rotate its secrets, assign an owner, reduce its privileges, detect abuse in real time, or safely disable it.

Best fit: Large hybrid-cloud organizations with complex service-account and workload-identity inventories.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Main trade-off: Discovery may reveal thousands of unknown identities that are difficult to attribute, rotate, or disable without breaking production automation. Identity logs also contain sensitive information, so retention, access, and data-residency controls matter.

Which offensive-security and software-supply-chain announcements mattered?

9. Bugcrowd Red Team as a Service

Bugcrowd Red Team as a Service was presented as a crowdsourced red-team service using Bugcrowd’s ethical-hacker community, current threat intelligence, and real-world adversary emulation. The service was described as integrating with Bugcrowd’s existing bug-bounty and penetration-testing programs and producing comprehensive findings reports.

Bugcrowd characterized the service as the industry’s “first” crowdsourced red-teaming service. That is a vendor-originated superlative reported in the CRN coverage, not an independently established market fact.

Best fit: Organizations seeking broader adversary simulation than a conventional point-in-time penetration test.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Main trade-off: Crowdsourcing can provide diverse expertise, but it can require more confidentiality controls, tester vetting, scope management, and coordination than a single retained red team. Rules of engagement must explicitly cover production systems, cloud providers, third parties, social engineering, identity, physical environments, and escalation.

Buyers should also ask whether deliverables include exploit evidence, business impact, detection gaps, remediation ownership, reusable detection rules, and retesting—or only a report. Testing must be authorized and tightly scoped.

10. Apiiro Software Graph Visualization

Apiiro Software Graph Visualization was introduced as an interactive map of software architecture and application-security risk. The described view connects software components and vulnerabilities, identifies toxic combinations, supports blast-radius and data-exposure analysis, and shows material changes over time.

The goal is to replace static, manually assembled reports with an interactive view that helps application-security and engineering teams prioritize risk. Apiiro’s platform page provides the vendor’s current product context.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Yubico - Security Key NFC - Basic Compatibility - Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Key, Connect via USB-A or NFC, FIDO Certified
  • POWERFUL SECURITY KEY: The Security Key NFC is the essential physical passkey for protecting your digital life from phishing attacks. It ensures only you can access your accounts.
  • WORKS WITH 1000+ ACCOUNTS: Compatible with Google, Microsoft, and Apple. A single Security Key NFC secures 100 of your favorite accounts, including email, password managers, and more.
  • FAST & CONVENIENT LOGIN: Plug in your Security Key NFC via USB-A and tap it, or tap it against your phone (NFC) to authenticate. No batteries, no internet connection, and no extra fees required.
  • TRUSTED PASSKEY TECHNOLOGY: Uses the latest passkey standards (FIDO2/WebAuthn & FIDO U2F) but does not support One-Time Passwords. For complex needs, check out the YubiKey 5 Series.
  • BUILT TO LAST: Made from tough, waterproof, and crush-resistant materials. Manufactured in Sweden and programmed in the USA with the highest security standards.

A graph is only as useful as its underlying inventory, dependency, ownership, and vulnerability data. “Real time” depends on scan frequency and integration latency, and visualization alone does not remediate a vulnerability. Buyers should look for clear ownership, actionable risk ranking, ticketing integration, developer workflow support, and a way to distinguish exploitable material risk from an interesting relationship.

11. NetRise ZeroLens

NetRise ZeroLens targets undisclosed weaknesses in software by combining software-asset inventory with binary composition analysis. The approach is particularly relevant to compiled code, proprietary software, firmware, and embedded devices that may not be represented accurately by source repositories or software manifests.

Binary analysis can reveal components and supply-chain risks missed by conventional source-based software-composition analysis, but identifying a component does not automatically prove exploitability. NetRise’s official site should be checked before publication for the current ZeroLens product page, supported binary formats, and availability; the research available for this article did not independently confirm the exact current product URL.

Best fit: Device manufacturers, embedded-software teams, product-security organizations, and enterprises concerned about third-party binaries.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Buyer checks: Ask whether ZeroLens identifies exploitable vulnerabilities or only suspicious components, how it handles false positives and proprietary or obfuscated software, whether it integrates with SBOM and vulnerability-management workflows, and what scanning infrastructure is required.

Wallarm Agentic AI Protection

Wallarm Agentic AI Protection was another RSAC announcement package, focused on protecting agentic AI and related API-security use cases. The supplied launch coverage identifies the product but does not provide enough verified detail to describe its exact enforcement controls, supported models, deployment architecture, or availability without risking overstatement.

That limitation is important: “protects AI agents” can refer to model protection, prompt filtering, runtime monitoring, API controls, agent authorization, tool-use restrictions, or several of those functions. Wallarm’s company-news page is the appropriate source for confirming the current product scope. Buyers should ask whether controls cover internally hosted models, third-party AI services, agent tools, plugins, data access, prompt injection, model outputs, and supply-chain dependencies.

What were the dominant RSAC 2025 security themes?

The announcements reflected several themes highlighted in RSAC’s own 2025 closing coverage: agentic AI, changing identity risk, vulnerability management, and regulation. The product launches made those themes operational rather than merely conceptual.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • AI-assisted operations: Charlotte AI and Abnormal AI Data Analyst aimed to reduce investigation and reporting effort.
  • AI taking controlled action: Charlotte AI Agentic Workflows introduced reasoning inside SOAR playbooks, raising permission and rollback questions.
  • Security for AI systems: Netskope and Wallarm addressed data use, governance, APIs, and agentic workflows rather than simply using AI to detect threats.
  • Identity beyond humans: Huntress focused on Microsoft 365 identity abuse, while Silverfort expanded visibility into service accounts, workloads, API keys, and other machine identities.
  • Software and data inventory: Apiiro mapped software relationships, and NetRise analyzed compiled binaries; Netskope focused on sensitive-data discovery and classification.
  • Offensive validation: Bugcrowd emphasized adversary simulation and crowdsourced testing rather than another passive monitoring control.

How should security buyers evaluate these tools?

Security buyers should prioritize operational evidence and integration over launch-day novelty. The following checklist applies across the 10 announcement packages.

  1. Define the blind spot. Determine whether the product addresses a severe, active gap—such as OAuth abuse, unmanaged workload identities, AI data leakage, or unknown binary components—or mainly improves convenience.
  2. Map required coverage. List the identity providers, clouds, SaaS applications, endpoints, email systems, data stores, software repositories, binary formats, APIs, and AI services that must be supported.
  3. Measure integration burden. Confirm connections to the existing SIEM, SOAR, IAM, EDR, ticketing, cloud, email, DevSecOps, and vulnerability-management stack.
  4. Test automation safety. Require approval gates, least-privilege permissions, detailed audit logs, action previews, rollback, exception handling, and a documented response to incomplete or manipulated context.
  5. Separate evidence from marketing. Label vendor claims such as “up to 99%,” “first,” “autonomous,” “unified,” and “real time” as claims until independent testing or customer evidence supports them.
  6. Confirm maturity. Establish whether the capability is generally available, an early-access release, a preview, an existing feature expansion, a demonstration, or a sales-led service.
  7. Model the commercial structure. Ask whether pricing is based on users, endpoints, events, data volume, identities, modules, annual platform licensing, or a custom engagement.
  8. Assess consolidation honestly. Determine whether the tool replaces an existing product or adds another console, data pipeline, policy engine, and renewal.
  9. Review data handling. Ask where telemetry, prompts, reports, employee-training data, identity events, and security findings are stored, retained, and processed.
  10. Assign ownership. Identify the team responsible for integrations, policies, exceptions, approvals, remediation, and periodic validation.

Are these tools generally available, and how are they bought?

The RSAC announcements do not establish a universal availability or pricing status for the products. Most offerings in this list are enterprise, platform, or sales-led products, and several are features inside a broader vendor ecosystem rather than self-service purchases.

Offering Likely buying motion What to verify before purchase
Cortex XSIAM 3.0 Enterprise platform quote Included modules, migration requirements, ingestion and retention, regional availability
Charlotte AI Likely connected to Falcon and platform licensing Entitlement, preview or GA status, model/data handling, action permissions
Abnormal AI capabilities Sales engagement Supported data sources, campaign controls, analyst and employee-data handling
Netskope DSPM Netskope One enterprise quote DSPM and safe-training modules, AI coverage, policy enforcement, data residency
Huntress Managed ITDR Managed-service engagement; current public pricing requires direct verification Microsoft 365 event coverage, response authority, hybrid identity support
Bugcrowd Red Team as a Service Custom engagement pricing Scope, tester vetting, rules of engagement, reporting, retesting
Silverfort Enterprise custom quote Cloud and SaaS coverage, ownership discovery, secret rotation, response
Apiiro Enterprise quote Inventory accuracy, integrations, scan cadence, ownership and remediation workflows
Wallarm Agentic AI Protection Sales-led API and AI-security evaluation Exact controls, supported models and agents, deployment, availability
NetRise ZeroLens Product-security or enterprise custom engagement Binary formats, firmware support, false-positive handling, current product status

Pricing and packaging should be rechecked immediately before publication or purchase. The RSAC launch material did not provide reliable current prices, and enterprise quotes can vary by data volume, users, identities, modules, geography, support level, and scope.

What can go wrong with agentic security tools?

Agentic security operations can produce incomplete investigations, incorrect conclusions, unsafe permissions, or disruptive automated actions. A security assistant can also be targeted through prompt injection if hostile content enters the context window.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For every agent, require logs that capture the relevant inputs, concise reasoning summaries, data and tool calls, approvals, and final actions. Run the system in recommendation-only mode before permitting containment, account disabling, email deletion, or other irreversible actions. Establish a human approval path and test rollback with realistic benign events.

FIDO2 U2F Security Key Passkey Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) USB Key PIN+Touch (Non-Biometric) USB-A Type TrustKey T110
  • Security Key : Protect your online accounts against unauthorized access by using FIDO2 and U2F authentication with T110. It's the world's most protective security key that works with windows, Mac OS, Linux as well as Chrome, Firefox, Edge and many other major browsers.
  • Certified with the new FIDO2 standard, T110 provides the benefit of fast login and strong protection against phishing, account takeover as well as many other online attactks.
  • Works with : Bank of America, Github, Google, Microsoft, DUO, Twitter, Facebook, Dropbox, Apple, ebay, BINANCE, mor and more.
  • Fits USB-A port : Insert the T110 security key into the USB-A port of each service and log in conveniently with one touch
  • For the driver download and user guide, please visit TrustKey Solutions Home support page.

AI-security products also need precise scoping. Protecting prompts does not necessarily protect model weights, training data, plugins, tools, vector databases, caches, downstream applications, or model outputs. Ask whether controls cover internally hosted models, third-party SaaS models, and agent-to-tool communication.

What can go wrong with identity, data, and software inventories?

Identity discovery is not remediation. Disabling an apparently unused service account can break production automation, and OAuth or workload-identity inventories become stale without ownership and business-purpose metadata.

Data classification can be wrong in both directions: an overly broad policy can block legitimate AI use, while an overly permissive classification can expose regulated information. Safe-training controls may not cover data copied into prompts, vector stores, caches, logs, or downstream outputs.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Binary analysis can identify a component without proving that the component is exploitable. Proprietary or obfuscated software can reduce detection accuracy, and vulnerability databases can lag behind newly discovered weaknesses. Organizations need a decision process for patching, isolating, replacing, or formally accepting each finding.

Which organizations should investigate these announcements?

Large enterprises with platform-consolidation goals should examine Cortex XSIAM and CrowdStrike Charlotte AI, but only after comparing data coverage, licensing, and migration costs with existing SIEM, SOAR, and XDR investments.

Organizations adopting generative AI or agentic workflows should examine Netskope and Wallarm, while also checking whether the proposed controls cover the full AI data path rather than only prompts or APIs.

Hybrid-cloud IAM teams should examine Huntress and Silverfort where Microsoft 365 abuse, service accounts, workload identities, API keys, or SaaS identity sprawl are material risks.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Application-security and product-security teams should examine Apiiro and NetRise when dependency relationships, blast radius, firmware, proprietary binaries, or embedded software are difficult to inventory through source-based tools.

Security-awareness and offensive-security teams should evaluate Abnormal AI Phishing Coach and Bugcrowd Red Team as a Service, with particular attention to employee privacy, testing authorization, confidentiality, reporting quality, and retesting.

Small organizations with limited staffing, missing telemetry, strict data-residency requirements, or a preference for self-service purchasing may find these enterprise offerings too complex or too expensive. Alternative approaches—including Microsoft Sentinel, Google Security Operations, Splunk Enterprise Security, Microsoft Defender XDR, SentinelOne, Microsoft Purview, BigID, Cyera, Securiti, Entra ID Protection, Okta, Semperis, traditional penetration-testing firms, Cobalt, HackerOne, Snyk, GitLab, Veracode, ArmorCode, FOSSA, Black Duck, Mend, Endor Labs, and ReversingLabs—may fit better depending on the existing stack and the exact problem.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the RSAC 2025 list contain more than 10 cybersecurity products?

The original RSAC 2025 roundup counted 10 announcement packages rather than 10 completely separate products. CrowdStrike’s Charlotte AI Agentic Response and Agentic Workflows were grouped together, as were Abnormal AI Phishing Coach and AI Data Analyst, while Wallarm and NetRise ZeroLens were also included in the broader body of coverage.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Were all of these cybersecurity tools generally available at RSAC 2025?

No. An RSAC 2025 announcement did not automatically mean that a product or feature was generally available on April 28, 2025. Buyers must confirm current GA, preview, early-access, regional, edition, entitlement, and licensing status with each vendor.

Which RSAC 2025 announcement is best for non-human identity security?

Silverfort’s non-human identity expansion was the most directly focused on coverage across cloud identity providers, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS, while Huntress focused on Microsoft 365 identity threats. The better fit depends on supported platforms, ownership data, remediation, and the organization’s existing identity stack.

What did Palo Alto Networks claim about Cortex XSIAM 3.0?

Palo Alto Networks claimed that Cortex Exposure Management could reduce vulnerability noise by up to 99%. The figure is a vendor claim reported in the RSAC 2025 announcement coverage and should not be treated as an independently verified average.

The Bottom Line

RSAC 2025’s most important pattern was the movement from passive detection toward automated reasoning and controlled action, alongside a broader definition of what must be secured: AI systems, non-human identities, data usage, software relationships, and compiled binaries. Buyers should treat the list as a set of promising announcement packages—not a ranking or proof of production readiness—and validate coverage, permissions, evidence, availability, integration effort, and total cost before committing.
