For a general-purpose Sigrid build, equip Knight’s Extolment, use four-piece Hormone Punk with two-piece Puffer Electro, and start with CRIT DMG, PEN Ratio, and ATK% on Drive Discs 4, 5, and 6. Her Aerial Patrol Spear state supplies substantial CRIT Rate, so check her in-combat stats before adding more. These recommendations come from third-party guides updated in September 2026, not a single verified recalculation for every team or the current patch.
How to build Sigrid
Sigrid is an S-Rank Ice Attack Agent whose damage plan centers on entering Aerial Patrol Spear and using the enhanced Basic Attack, Converging Spear. The build choices below support that loop: her signature W-Engine is the leading option in the reviewed guides, while Drive Disc sets and teammates can shift with your roster and investment.
- W-Engine: Knight’s Extolment is the first choice; The Brimstone is a strong non-limited alternative.
- Drive Discs: Four-piece Hormone Punk plus two-piece Puffer Electro is a practical general-purpose starting point.
- Main stats: CRIT DMG or ATK% on Disk 4, PEN Ratio on Disk 5, and ATK% on Disk 6.
- Team: Pair her with a Stun Agent and a Support suited to your roster; Norma, Dialyn, and Lycaon are Stun options discussed by Prydwen.
Prydwen’s guide was last updated September 30, 2026, and its update tracker identifies Patch 3.1. Mobalytics lists an update date of September 25, 2026. Icy Veins lists August 17, 2026; although its page showed a version 3.2 countdown for September 30, that does not establish that its build was recalculated for 3.2. Exact values and recommendations below are guide claims, so check Sigrid’s live in-game kit when patch-sensitive details matter.
How Sigrid’s combat loop works
Unbridled Spear attacks are the triggers for Aerial Patrol Spear. Prydwen lists the fourth hit of her standard Basic Attack string, EX Specials, Assist Follow-Up, Chain Attack, Ultimate, and Dodge Counter as attacks that can activate it. Hitting an enemy with one of these moves outside the state enters it and grants one use of Converging Spear; landing another while the state is active refreshes the state and grants another use. The enhanced attack’s stages shorten the remaining state duration.

- Zenless Zone Zero Bangboo Party Series Figures - Single Box (Random)
While active, Aerial Patrol Spear provides a large CRIT Rate bonus and increases the Stun DMG Multiplier against stunned enemies by 20%, according to Prydwen. The practical rhythm is to enter or refresh the state, spend the enhanced Basic Attack, and keep track of the timer rather than letting it expire unused.
Using the stun window
Prydwen highlights a sequence in which Sigrid’s Chain Attack against a stunned enemy activates Formation Breaker. This can let her use a string of enhanced basics without refreshing the state between each one. Treat the guide’s sample combo as a template: stun duration, teammate mechanics, and available resources affect how many attacks fit.

Best W-Engines for Sigrid
| W-Engine | When to use it | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Knight’s Extolment | Top recommendation in the reviewed guides. | Its CRIT DMG and Ice resistance ignore effects suit her damage profile. The guides describe building its effect through heavy Basic Attack and EX Special hits. |
| The Brimstone | Strong non-limited alternative in Prydwen’s assessment. | Its ATK bonuses pair with frequent Basic Attacks and do not add CRIT Rate. Value depends on refinement and how much ATK the rest of the build and team already provide. |
| Gilded Blossom | An A-Rank option listed by Mobalytics. | Mobalytics considers it less competitive than Knight’s Extolment and The Brimstone. |
| Other owned options, including Severed Innocence and Deep Sea Visitor | Consider what is already available before spending for a new weapon. | CRIT Rate-heavy options can leave little room for CRIT Rate substats once Sigrid’s passive is active. Check the complete build rather than judging a weapon in isolation. |
Prydwen and Icy Veins both recommend choosing Knight’s Extolment over M1 when those are the competing investments. A weapon is not automatically worth a pull for every account: compare its contribution with your existing equipment and the value of a Mindscape for your roster.
Best Drive Discs and main stats
Choose a set for your team
Prydwen recommends four-piece Hormone Punk with two-piece Puffer Electro as a general-purpose baseline. It also identifies two alternatives whose value depends on the team or fight:
Rank #3
- Zenless Zone Zero Happy Shake Series: Mini Bangboo Shaker - Knightboo
- Four-piece Puffer Electro: Can be the better choice with Dialyn, whose Ultimate can trigger the set consistently, according to Prydwen.
- Four-piece Dawn’s Bloom: Can compete because of Sigrid’s enhanced-Basic damage. Activation timing, investment, and using an EX Special near the combo affect how well it suits a fight.
Mobalytics also identifies Hormone Punk and Dawn’s Bloom as principal four-piece choices, emphasizing the effect of substats, team buffs, and investment. There is no single set winner established for every account and encounter.
Main stats and substats
| Drive Disc slot | Starting main stat | Alternative or guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Disk 4 | CRIT DMG | ATK% is also viable depending on weapon and substat distribution, according to Mobalytics. |
| Disk 5 | PEN Ratio | Prydwen’s baseline recommendation. |
| Disk 6 | ATK% | Prydwen’s baseline recommendation. |
Prioritize CRIT DMG and ATK% among substats. Add CRIT Rate only after checking the full build, including weapon and buffs, because her passive already supplies a substantial in-combat bonus; value PEN and ATK as available once CRIT Rate is sufficient.

CRIT Rate and endgame guide targets
Prydwen’s level-60 guide gives about 33.8% displayed CRIT Rate as a benchmark intended to account for its stated 66% Core Passive bonus. That is a guide target, not an official universal threshold: weapon effects, Mindscapes, buffs, and the live kit can change the appropriate amount. Mobalytics similarly cautions that a CRIT Rate W-Engine leaves little room for additional CRIT Rate rolls.
Prydwen also gives 3,000–3,400+ ATK and 150–210%+ CRIT DMG as level-60 reference targets. These are endgame guide benchmarks, not minimum requirements for a functional Sigrid build.

Teams: choosing Sigrid’s Stun and Support partners
Prydwen discusses Norma, Dialyn, and Lycaon as Stun choices, and Sunna, Rina, and Astra Yao as Support choices. The best fit depends on how a teammate affects stun windows, Sigrid’s buffs, Drive Disc activation, enemy weakness, and who you own.
| Role and Agent | Utility highlighted by Prydwen | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Stun: Norma | Additional Chain Attack and Decibel value. | Consider if those resources help your preferred stun-window sequence. |
| Stun: Dialyn | Ultimate-centered damage and the ability to trigger four-piece Puffer Electro consistently. | Especially relevant if building around that Drive Disc set. |
| Stun: Lycaon | Buffs and Daze. | May fit weakness-matched fights and rosters that benefit from his utility. |
| Support: Sunna | Easy-to-maintain buffs and Daze. | Assess how her buffs fit with Sigrid’s existing stat bonuses. |
| Support: Rina | PEN value. | Consider whether that contribution suits the rest of the build. |
| Support: Astra Yao | Chain Attack conversions. | Useful to weigh when Chain Attack timing is central to your team plan. |
When comparing teammates, focus on whether they create and extend useful Stun windows, add Chain Attacks or Decibels, improve stats Sigrid still needs, enable a set effect such as Puffer Electro, and match your roster and the enemy’s weakness. Prydwen’s weapon calculations use Norma and Sunna plus the Bangboo listed in its guide, so those comparisons should not be treated as universal team results.
Mindscapes and where to invest
If choosing between Sigrid’s signature W-Engine and M1, Prydwen and Icy Veins both favor Knight’s Extolment. M1 is still an early Mindscape option; the higher Mindscapes add progressively more specialized benefits.
| Mindscape | Effect described by the reviewed guides | Investment context |
|---|---|---|
| M1, “Long, Long Ago” | Grants 25% ATK and benefits to enhanced basics. | An early Mindscape option, but the guides prefer the signature W-Engine if choosing between the two investments. |
| M2, “Legend’s First Act” | Adds 24% PEN Ratio to listed attacks, extends Aerial Patrol Spear by two seconds, and increases Decibel Generation Rate by 10%. | Offers several benefits tied to damage and the state; confirm exact live values in-game. |
| M4 | Grants a damage bonus when Sigrid gains Aerial Patrol Spear. | A later investment with a state-triggered benefit. |
| M6 | Adds Ice damage to enhanced-Basic stage finishers and removes the usual Formation Breaker entry limit. | A high-investment upgrade. |
For limited resources, establish a functional weapon, Drive Disc set, and team before pursuing higher Mindscapes. The M2 and later effects are guide-described upgrades, not a reason to assume a particular account needs them.
