First check the playlist itself. If the real-estate tour is listed twice, remove the unwanted entry. If it appears only once but plays again after finishing, turn off the repeat control for the video or playlist. These are separate YouTube controls, and the symptom alone does not establish why the tour appears twice.
Tell a duplicate playlist entry from repeat playback
| What you see | What to check | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The tour appears twice in the playlist list. | Playlist contents | Remove the unwanted entry. |
| The tour appears once, then starts again after it finishes. | Repeat controls in the player or playlist | Turn off the active repeat mode. |
Check the list before changing playback settings. YouTube documents looping a video or playlist separately from removing a playlist item: YouTube’s loop instructions and playlist editing instructions.
Remove the extra tour entry on desktop
- Open the playlist and scan its entries for the repeated tour title or thumbnail.
- Beside the unwanted entry, select More.
- Choose Remove from [PLAYLIST NAME].
- Check the playlist again to confirm that only the intended entry remains.
You can drag a video to reorder it if the problem is its position rather than a duplicate. The documented removal steps above are for desktop. On Android, if the interface does not offer a direct remove command for one item, use YouTube Studio or desktop playlist editing. Do not confuse Hide with permanent removal; YouTube’s Android playlist guidance describes playlist management but does not clearly document permanent removal of a single item in the returned instructions: playlist editing help.
If the tour appears once, turn off repeat
- Start the video or playlist.
- Open the player menu and inspect whether Loop is enabled for the video.
- If the video is in a playlist, inspect the playlist box’s Loop control as well. That control repeats the playlist; the player control can repeat an individual video.
- Turn off the active repeat control, then watch through the end of the item to see whether playback advances or stops as expected.
Control placement can vary by device and YouTube interface version. YouTube’s instructions distinguish looping a video from looping a playlist: Loop videos or playlists.

Do not delete the live archive to fix a playlist entry
A livestream archive is the underlying video; a playlist entry is an item that points to a video. Removing an item from the playlist is not the same as deleting or changing the visibility of the archive. Use playlist editing for an unwanted playlist entry. Consider archive controls only if you separately want to change or remove the underlying video.
YouTube says a live stream shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived. YouTube Studio provides controls for archive visibility and deletion, but those actions affect the video itself, not just one playlist entry: Manage your live stream archives.

If playback itself is malfunctioning
Use these checks only if the issue is playback failure or interruption, rather than a second entry in the list:
- Update or reopen the browser or app, then try playback again.
- Try another supported device to see whether the issue follows the video or is limited to one device.
- Ask whether one viewer or multiple viewers encounter the problem. YouTube’s live troubleshooting guidance uses that distinction to help narrow down viewer-side connection problems versus stream-side issues: Troubleshoot live stream issues.
These steps are diagnostics for playback faults; they do not remove duplicate playlist entries. The available YouTube guidance does not establish that an encoder, cache, Live Control Room setting, or current platform defect causes this particular symptom.

If your goal is to keep prerecorded real-estate tours playing as a YouTube live stream, StreamNeo is a separate option; it does not fix a duplicate entry in an existing YouTube playlist. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. It streams your files as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month.
