The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and vivo T4 Pro suit different priorities: Xiaomi lists a larger, higher-resolution display and a 200MP main camera with an ultra-wide lens, while vivo lists a dedicated 3x periscope telephoto camera and 90W charging. Both are India-market phones with manufacturer-advertised four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. The specifications below are manufacturer claims, not comparative test results.

These figures come from the manufacturers’ India pages and the cited comparison source. They describe listed specifications and policies, not independent measurements of performance, battery life, image quality, or durability.
Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi has the larger screen by a small margin and a substantially higher listed resolution: 6.83 inches at 2772 × 1280, compared with vivo’s 6.77 inches at 2392 × 1080. Both are 120Hz AMOLED displays. Xiaomi lists a flat panel; vivo lists a quad-curved panel and HDR10+ support.

Those labels describe different measurement categories, so the larger local-peak number alone does not establish that vivo’s screen will look brighter in every situation.

How do their cameras differ?
Choose Redmi for its main-camera and ultra-wide combination
Xiaomi lists a 200MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. That gives the Redmi an explicitly listed ultra-wide option alongside its high-resolution main sensor. Megapixel counts do not, by themselves, establish which phone takes better photos.
Choose vivo for a dedicated 3x telephoto camera
The T4 Pro’s listed rear setup includes a 50MP OIS 3x periscope telephoto camera, in addition to a 50MP OIS main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. It is the clearer hardware fit if you specifically want a dedicated optical-zoom lens. The listed megapixel counts and lens configuration are not substitutes for comparable photo tests.

The front-camera figures are reported differently in the available material: 20MP for Redmi from 91mobiles, and 32MP for vivo on vivo’s product material. They should not be treated as a tested selfie-quality ranking.

Battery, charging, and durability
Battery capacity is close; charging wattage favors vivo on paper
Xiaomi lists a 6,580mAh battery and 45W wired charging. vivo lists 6,500mAh typical capacity, 6,330mAh rated capacity, and 90W charging. The listed capacities are similar, while vivo’s stated charging wattage is higher. These specifications alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in everyday use.

Compare the stated protection, not just the number of ratings
Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and a 2.5m certified drop-resistance claim. vivo lists IP68 and IP69; its product notes caution that water resistance can decline with use and that liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Ratings and manufacturer claims are not a promise that either phone is damage-proof.
Performance and software support
The Redmi uses MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, which Xiaomi describes as a TSMC 4nm processor; the vivo uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The listed chip names do not prove which phone is faster. A performance ranking would require comparable tests under the same conditions.

Both manufacturers advertise four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for their India models. The Redmi page lists HyperOS 3 based on Android 15; vivo lists Funtouch OS 15. These are stated support policies, and the pages reviewed do not establish exact update start or end dates.

Before choosing on price, compare the same RAM and storage tier, seller, discounts, and live stock. The recorded vivo store listing was specifically for 8GB/128GB; check the vivo India Store listing and current retailer listings for availability and checkout price.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if you value its larger, higher-resolution display, 200MP stabilized main camera, ultra-wide camera, or the broader set of durability ratings listed by Xiaomi.
- Choose the vivo T4 Pro if you specifically want a dedicated 3x periscope camera, prefer a curved display, or prioritize its listed 90W charging.
- Wait to decide on price until you can compare matching storage and RAM configurations with current stock and seller details.
These are specification-based reasons to choose one model, not a tested claim that either phone is the better all-rounder.
