The Redmi Turbo 5 is the stronger pick for processing power, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G offers a larger screen and a higher-resolution main camera with optical image stabilization. In Xiaomi India’s store snapshot reviewed on October 5, 2026, the Note 15 Pro 5G (8 GB/128 GB) was listed at ₹31,999 but out of stock; the Turbo 5 (8 GB/256 GB) was ₹41,999. That ₹10,000 gap compares different storage capacities, so it is not a like-for-like price comparison.
This comparison refers specifically to the India-market Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and the REDMI Turbo 5 listing. Specs, bands, software, warranty, prices and availability can vary by country and SKU.

Specifications and performance figures above are drawn from Xiaomi’s India product and store listings and 91mobiles’ comparison page. The Turbo 5 display, camera, processor and battery-test entries rely on that third-party comparison rather than a comparable official specification page. Check the exact SKU before treating them as definitive for a phone sold in another market.

These are publisher-reported comparison values, not results from controlled testing for this article. The reviewed page does not give enough methodology to treat them as a lab head-to-head; scores can change with benchmark version, software, settings and thermal conditions. They support the Turbo 5 as the performance-oriented choice, but they do not guarantee a particular gaming frame rate or day-to-day experience.
Which has the better display and cameras?
Screen size
91mobiles lists a 6.83-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display for the Note 15 Pro 5G and a 6.59-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display for the Turbo 5. The Note’s larger listed panel suits readers who want more screen area; the Turbo’s smaller one may be preferable if a more compact phone is the priority. Confirm resolution and other panel details against the exact Turbo 5 SKU, since the reviewed official materials do not provide a matching specification page.

Main camera hardware
Xiaomi lists the Note 15 Pro 5G’s main camera as a 200 MP unit with an f/1.7 lens, a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS. The 91mobiles comparison lists a 50 MP rear camera on the Turbo 5 and a 20 MP front camera on each phone. These figures describe hardware, not a controlled comparison of photo quality: megapixel count alone does not establish which phone takes better pictures.
Battery life, charging and durability
Xiaomi specifies a 6,580 mAh silicon-carbon battery and 45 W charging for the India-market Note 15 Pro 5G. Separately, 91mobiles reports battery-test durations of 14 hours 22 minutes for the Note and 16 hours 5 minutes for the Turbo 5. The test conditions are not established in the reviewed material, so those durations should be treated as that publisher’s results, not a forecast for every user. Battery capacity and runtime are different measures.

Xiaomi’s India product description advertises IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Note 15 Pro 5G, along with a drop-resistance claim for Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Treat these as claims for the specified model, not a reason to expose a phone deliberately to water or drops; resistance can diminish with wear, and warranty terms may exclude damage. Xiaomi’s India specification page also lists 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Software and update support
Xiaomi’s product page describes the Note 15 Pro 5G as running HyperOS 3 on Android 15 and promises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. TechRadar’s May 2026 review described the launch software as HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, while also reporting the four-year OS and six-year security commitment. The difference in HyperOS version may reflect timing or build variation; check the installed version and update status on the particular unit. A comparable Turbo 5 update commitment was not established in the reviewed sources.

TechRadar’s reviewer also noted substantial preinstalled software, ads and notifications on the Note 15 Pro 5G. That is a reviewer observation, not a guarantee that every regional build or later software version will behave identically.

For a fairer price comparison, compare the same storage capacity in the same market and at the same time. The available snapshot does not establish prices for matching configurations, so it cannot show how much of the gap is attributable to the phones themselves rather than storage, seller or sale conditions.
Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if a larger listed display and 200 MP OIS main-camera hardware matter more to you, and the current price and stock for your preferred local configuration make sense.
- Consider the Redmi Turbo 5 if processor performance is your priority and you are comfortable with its smaller listed display. Its stronger processor listing and higher 91mobiles-reported benchmark scores make it the performance-oriented option.
Before ordering either phone, verify the regional model name, RAM and storage, network-band support, software build, warranty, seller and current availability. Redmi model names do not guarantee identical specifications across markets.
