The Redmi Note 14 (4G) is the stronger fit if you value a sharper AMOLED screen and higher-resolution main camera. The Redmi 15C trades those features for a larger display, a higher stated battery capacity and a higher dust-protection rating. Both list 120Hz refresh and 33W charging. Which makes more sense depends on your priorities, exact configuration and local price.

This comparison covers the global Redmi Note 14 and the global Redmi 15C specifications. It does not treat either as the separately named 5G model. Xiaomi notes that products and configurations can vary by region.

Which phone has the better display?

The Redmi Note 14 has the more detailed, higher-specification display: Xiaomi lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 2400 × 1080 resolution. The Redmi 15C has a larger 6.9-inch Dot Drop screen, but its listed resolution is 1600 × 720. Both support refresh rates up to 120Hz.

Choose the Note 14 if display sharpness and AMOLED technology matter more to you. Choose the 15C if you prefer a larger diagonal and accept its lower listed resolution. The shared 120Hz maximum does not make the panels equivalent in size, technology or pixel detail.

How do their cameras compare?

Xiaomi lists a 108MP main camera plus 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras on the Note 14. The 15C page lists a 50MP main camera and an auxiliary lens. That gives the Note 14 the higher main-camera resolution on paper, but megapixels alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. The available product specifications do not provide a model-matched comparison of image quality.

Which has the longer battery life?

The Redmi 15C has the larger stated typical battery capacity: 6000mAh versus 5500mAh for the Note 14. That is a capacity advantage on paper, not a guaranteed runtime difference. Screen characteristics, software, mobile signal and how you use the phone also affect battery life.

Xiaomi lists up to 82 hours of music playback for the 15C and says the battery retains at least 80% capacity after 1000 charge cycles. These are Xiaomi lab claims, not independent comparative results; the manufacturer says actual outcomes can vary. They should not be read as a promise of everyday screen-on time.

Performance: what the chipset specifications establish

The Note 14 uses a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra, while the 15C uses a Helio G81-Ultra. Those are different chipsets, but the cited Xiaomi pages do not provide comparable benchmark results or model-matched gaming tests. It is not possible to establish a practical performance winner from these specifications alone; look for tests of the exact regional models if demanding games or sustained workloads are central to your decision.

Durability and handling

Xiaomi lists an IP54 rating for the Note 14 and IP64 for the 15C. The 15C therefore has the higher dust-protection classification in these specifications. Neither rating means the phone is safe to immerse in water; follow the model’s usage and warranty terms rather than treating an IP rating as permission for water exposure.

The 15C is larger and heavier: Xiaomi lists it at 171.56 × 79.47mm and 205g, compared with 163.25 × 76.55mm and 196.5g for the Note 14. The 15C is listed as slightly thinner, at 7.99mm versus 8.16mm, but that does not offset its larger overall footprint if compact handling is your priority.

Memory, storage and model variants

Available memory and storage configurations vary by market, so compare the exact version being sold rather than assuming every unit with the same model name has the same specification. Xiaomi’s Redmi 15C specifications list microSD expansion up to 1TB; the card is sold separately. Check local availability and the precise Note 14 configuration before comparing value.

Confirm the model name carefully. Xiaomi also lists a Redmi Note 14 5G and a Redmi 15C 5G; those are separately named variants, not the 4G models compared here. Specifications and prices for one variant should not be applied to another.

Price difference: what the available figures do—and do not—show

A Xiaomi Belgium Fan Festival 2026 terms page provides a dated campaign example, not a current quote. Its 128GB listings pair the Redmi 15C 4GB/128GB at €149.00 regular or €99.90 campaign with the Redmi Note 14 8GB/128GB at €229.90 regular or €129.90 campaign. These are different RAM configurations, and the terms do not establish that the campaign remains available on October 4, 2026. See the Xiaomi Belgium Fan Festival 2026 terms.

The same Belgian terms list the Redmi 15C 4GB/256GB at €169.00 regular or €119.90 campaign, and the Redmi Note 14 8GB/256GB at €249.90 regular or €139.90 campaign. These are likewise regional campaign figures for different RAM configurations, not a global or present-day price comparison. A meaningful price decision requires checking the local retailer’s current price, exact RAM/storage and model variant.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the Redmi Note 14 if

  • You want the sharper listed display and AMOLED technology.
  • You prefer the higher-resolution main-camera specification.
  • You want a smaller, lighter phone than the 15C.

Choose the Redmi 15C if

  • You prefer a larger screen and accept its lower listed resolution.
  • You value its higher stated typical battery capacity.
  • You want the higher dust-protection rating or microSD expansion up to 1TB.

Before buying, verify the 4G or 5G variant, local RAM/storage configuration and current price. The model pages state specifications, but they do not establish comparative photo quality, real-world battery endurance or benchmark performance.
