The realme P4 5G pairs an AMOLED display with faster 80W wired charging, while the Xiaomi Redmi 15 5G has the larger LCD screen and a stated software-update timetable. Both list a 7,000mAh typical battery. Which is the better buy depends on the display you prefer, the features you value, and the verified price for the same storage configuration.

Which display is better?
The Redmi 15 5G offers the larger screen at 6.9 inches, and Xiaomi specifies an LCD panel. The realme P4 5G’s 6.77-inch panel is smaller but uses AMOLED technology; realme markets it as a “144Hz HyperGlow AMOLED Display.” Both manufacturers specify a maximum 144Hz refresh rate. Choose the Redmi if screen size is the priority, or the P4 if you prefer AMOLED. The specifications alone do not establish which is brighter or more accurate in everyday use.

Do the chipsets make one phone faster?
The Redmi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while the P4 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra. Those names identify different chipsets; they do not, by themselves, prove which phone is faster in apps, games or sustained workloads. The cited sources do not provide a controlled performance comparison, so avoid treating chipset specifications as a benchmark verdict.
Battery capacity and charging
Both phones list a 7,000mAh typical battery capacity. The charging specifications differ: Xiaomi lists 33W charging and 18W reverse charging for the Redmi, while realme specifies 80W charging for the P4 and says an 80W adapter is included. Charging wattage describes the specified charging capability, not a guaranteed charge time. No comparable battery-runtime test is available in the cited sources, so capacity alone cannot determine which lasts longer.

Camera differences
Xiaomi lists a 50MP AI dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera on the Redmi 15 5G. realme specifies a 50MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 16MP front camera on the P4, with rear video capture listed up to 4K/30fps. These are different camera configurations, but megapixel counts and recording modes do not establish real-world photo or video quality. The cited specifications do not include comparative camera tests.
Software and update support
Both phones are specified with Android 15-based software: HyperOS 2 on the Redmi and realme UI 6.0 on the P4. Xiaomi states “2 years of OS + 4 years of security updates” for the Redmi 15 5G. The cited realme specification page does not state a support duration; that omission is not evidence that updates will stop sooner or that the two phones have equal commitments.

Configurations and price difference
Compare like-for-like storage before judging price. Xiaomi lists the Redmi 15 5G in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. realme lists the P4 5G with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. The memory and storage specifications also differ: Xiaomi lists UFS 2.2 storage for the Redmi, while realme lists UFS 3.1 for the P4.
A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹21,499 for the Redmi 15 and ₹20,999 for the realme P4 when checked on October 4, 2026; it marked the P4 out of stock. These are page-displayed prices, not verified live checkout quotes, and the page does not establish that the prices refer to identical configurations or include the same discounts. Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P4 5G if you want an AMOLED display, the specified 80W wired charging capability, or a 16MP front camera.
- Choose the Xiaomi Redmi 15 5G if you want the larger 6.9-inch display, 18W reverse charging, or Xiaomi’s stated update timetable.
- Compare current offers carefully if price is the deciding factor: match the RAM and storage tier, confirm stock, and check the final checkout price.
Neither chipset nor battery capacity settles the performance or runtime question: the cited sources do not provide comparable tests for these phones.
