Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.6780 (KB5067103) was announced for the Dev Channel on October 10, 2025. Based on Windows 11, version 25H2, it adds or updates several experiences—including Settings search, Drag Tray and Click to Do—alongside fixes and a handful of known issues. Many changes are gradual rollouts, so their presence in the announcement does not mean they are already available on every eligible PC.
What is build 26220.6780 (KB5067103)?
It is a Windows 11 Insider Preview build for the Dev Channel, announced by Microsoft on October 10, 2025. Microsoft says Dev Channel builds in the 26220.xxxx series are based on Windows 11, version 25H2, through an enablement package. The date in the title is the announcement date, not a claim about when every Insider received the build.
Microsoft describes the changes in its Windows Insider Blog announcement. The release notes describe planned rollouts and fixes; they are not independent test results.
What changed in this build?
Microsoft separates changes rolling out to Insiders who have enabled “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” from those rolling out more broadly in the Dev Channel. The toggle can make an Insider eligible for earlier rollouts, but does not guarantee immediate access.

Settings agent and search on Copilot+ PCs
An inline agent experience in Settings can offer actions for recently modified settings in Recommended settings. Settings search is also intended to provide more results that help users find and adjust settings. Microsoft’s example: a search for “increase volume” may show that the volume is already at maximum and provide a slider.
Drag Tray
Drag Tray is getting support for sharing multiple files, more relevant suggested apps and moving files to a selected folder.

Click to Do on Copilot+ PCs
In Click to Do (Preview), visual cues highlight entities such as emails and tables when the experience opens, helping users select an item for an action.
Administrator Protection, OneDrive and Run
- Administrator Protection: The option to enable it is available again under Windows Security > Account protection.
- OneDrive: A new icon is gradually appearing in Settings Accounts and Homepages.
- Run: Microsoft lists further dark-mode improvements, while noting that this rollout is very slow and planned to expand over later flights.
What fixes does Microsoft list?
The announcement lists gradual fixes affecting several parts of Windows:

- Task switching: Restores expected Win+number behavior for cycling through an app’s windows.
- File Explorer: Addresses crashes affecting some Insiders in the previous flight.
- Start: Fixes the Start menu unexpectedly scrolling to the top and a touch context menu that dismissed immediately.
- Search: Corrects unexpected text appearing in some results.
- App stability: Addresses a wider set of app crashes, including browser crashes, reported after the previous flight.
What known issues remain?
Taskbar and system tray
Taskbar preview animations are temporarily disabled because they interfered with sharing a window from its preview.
File Explorer dark-mode copy dialog
Progress may flash when changing the details view in the dark-mode copy dialog. At some text-scaling levels, the scrollbar and footer may be missing and appear as a white block.

Xbox Controller over Bluetooth
Some Insiders may encounter a bugcheck when using an Xbox Controller over Bluetooth. Microsoft’s stated workaround is to open Device Manager, switch to Devices by Driver, locate the oemXXX.inf (XboxGameControllerDriver.inf) driver and uninstall it. Confirm that the identified driver and issue apply to your system before removing it.
Why might a listed feature not appear on your PC?
Microsoft uses Controlled Feature Rollout: a change may begin with a subset of Insiders and expand based on feedback. Enabling “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” may make an Insider eligible for earlier gradual rollouts, but it does not make every feature immediately available. Some experiences in this flight are specifically for Copilot+ PCs. Microsoft also warns that preview features can change, be removed or never ship beyond Windows Insiders.
