First identify which action is failing: using a Race Reroll item already in your inventory, or redeeming a code that may award rerolls. They use different steps. The available guides describe both processes, but there is no confirmed official notice of a current, widespread Race Reroll bug.
Are you using an item or redeeming a code?
A Race Reroll item changes your race in-game. A code is a separate way to claim rewards, which may include Race Rerolls. If the item-use prompt fails, troubleshoot the inventory and item flow; if a code is rejected, check the code and redemption interface.

Fixes for a Race Reroll item that won’t activate
- Check your inventory. Make sure a Race Reroll is actually present. Without an item, there is nothing to activate.
- Follow the prompt through to completion. Use the item from your inventory and read each prompt. If the current race is high-rarity, the game may ask you to confirm replacing it; Destructoid reports that Legendary, Mythical, and Exotic rerolls require confirmation. Don’t dismiss or cancel that prompt if you intend to proceed.
- Check whether the action completed. If the item remains and the race did not change, try the in-game flow again. If the item was consumed but your race did not change, note exactly what happened and capture any error message; the available sources do not establish a universal fix for that case.
How to get Race Rerolls if you don’t have one
Guides list several possible routes, but these are reported in-game options, not guarantees that every route is available in the current version. Destructoid lists chests, fishing, trading, the Adventure Shop NPC, and codes. BloxInformer’s item guide also lists missions and boss or mob drops.
Check the live game for current availability and requirements. A code that grants rerolls is an acquisition route; redeeming it does not use an item already in your inventory.

Fixes for a code that won’t give you rerolls
- Copy the code exactly. Match its spelling and capitalization. BloxInformer’s code guide says codes are case-sensitive.
- Check whether the code is still accepted. Codes can expire or stop working, so a code shown on a third-party list is not proof that it remains valid.
- Use the current in-game redemption method. The Roblox experience listing says: “How to use codes: Type !code [Enter the code] in chat!” Third-party guides also describe a codes button. Follow the interface you see in your current game session; it may differ from a guide’s instructions.
- Retry in a fresh session. If a code appears valid but is rejected, leave and rejoin, preferably into a fresh server, then try once more. Pocket Tactics lists server issues as a possible general reason codes fail. The Roblox listing describes “Shutdown = Updates New Servers = Bug Fixes,” making a fresh server a reasonable low-risk check—not a guaranteed repair.
Do not rely on a code example from an older guide as proof of current validity or reward quantity. Code status and rewards can change, and third-party listings may disagree.
When to report a problem
If an item is consumed without changing your race, or the item or code interface repeatedly errors after you have checked the relevant steps, save the exact error message and report it through the game’s current official community or support channel. The available sources do not confirm a specific ongoing race-reroll defect, so an error should not be treated as evidence of a widespread bug without an official notice.
