Start with the exact error shown when you submit the code: Plarium says it identifies the cause. Then check that the code is still valid and meant for your account, confirm the code and Player ID, and look for the reward in your resource balances before trying again. Repeated failed attempts can trigger a one-hour cooldown.
Why a Mech Arena promo code may fail
Mech Arena codes are not all interchangeable. Plarium describes three categories: time-limited codes, beginner codes, and codes for experienced players returning to the game. A code may therefore be expired or unsuitable for the account receiving it. Plarium does not specify a universal expiry period or a threshold for qualifying as a returning player, so check the terms attached to the particular code rather than assuming eligibility.

Codes are usually limited to one use per person, according to Plarium. A code already redeemed by you—or by someone else if it is a single-use code—may not work again. The redemption portal asks for both a Player ID and a promo code, so a mismatch between the intended account and the ID entered is another detail to verify.
Fix the problem in this order
- Read the on-screen error. Plarium says the message shown when a code fails identifies the cause. Use it as your first clue instead of repeatedly submitting the same code or trying unrelated fixes. Plarium’s promo-code guidance was updated April 1, 2026.
- Confirm that the code is active and fits your account. Check whether it is time-limited, for beginners, or for returning players. The published guidance does not provide a standard expiry duration or a detailed returning-player eligibility rule, so the code’s own terms matter.
- Check the entry and account ID once. Compare the code character by character with its official listing, then make sure the Player ID belongs to the account that should receive the reward. The official redemption page has separate Player ID and Promo Code fields.
- Stop if failed attempts continue. Plarium says attempts are limited and that exceeding the limit may cause a one-hour cooldown; it does not publish the exact number of attempts. Wait rather than guessing repeatedly. A player’s report of the message “this code has allready been redeemed” does not establish a general 24-hour redemption rule; Plarium’s cited guidance supports a possible one-hour cooldown, not a universal 24-hour interval.
- Check whether the reward arrived anyway. Inspect your resource balances for the expected reward before concluding redemption failed. In a February 23, 2026 forum reply, Plarium community manager CrystalDrew advised players to check balances because a code might activate without a warning. Read the forum response.
- Contact Plarium Support if it remains unresolved. If the balance is unchanged and the code still cannot be activated, use Plarium’s Mech Arena support guidance. Include the exact error and relevant account details so support can understand what happened.
Where to check for codes that are still available
Plarium says codes are uncommon and most often appear around holidays or special events, such as anniversaries. Its suggested sources include in-game news, the official Facebook page, the Mech Arena Discord community, YouTube video descriptions, Plarium Store, plarium.com, and X/Twitter. Check an official channel for current availability rather than relying on an old copied list. See Plarium’s guide to getting a promo code, updated July 7, 2026.

What the available guidance does—and does not—establish
Plarium’s support articles describe code categories, error messages, limited attempts, and places to find codes. They do not publish code failure rates, typical expiry distributions, exact attempt limits, or redemption totals. Treat claims about a fixed 24-hour wait or a particular reason being the most common cause as unverified unless Plarium provides code-specific terms or support information.
