What protection can a bumper case actually provide?
Google’s official Pixel hardware specifications warn: “Phone isn’t drop or tumble proof and dropping your device may result in loss of water or dust resistance.” A case may add a protective layer, but neither a case description nor a magnetic accessory feature guarantees that a phone will survive a fall or retain water or dust resistance.
