Do you need to play Jedi: Fallen Order first?
No. Electronic Arts says the games can stand alone, so Jedi: Survivor is an option for newcomers. Playing Fallen Order first can provide context for Cal Kestis’s story, but it is not a prerequisite, and progress does not carry over between the games. Which platforms support Jedi: Survivor?
EA lists the game for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. On PC, EA lists the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Availability can vary by storefront and change over time, so confirm the platform and listing you intend to use before purchasing. (EA FAQ)
What PC requirements should you check?
EA’s support page lists the following Windows requirements. The GPU classes are listed with 8 GB of VRAM; meeting a minimum specification does not promise a particular resolution or frame rate. EA’s game page lists a different recommended AMD processor, Ryzen 5 5600X, while its support page lists Ryzen 5 1400. Because those official pages conflict, consult the current support page and the storefront listing rather than treating the AMD recommended CPU as settled. (EA game page; EA PC requirements)
How should you choose a difficulty?
There are five difficulty settings: Story Mode, Jedi Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, and Jedi Grand Master. Story Mode is intended for less resistance, while higher settings increase the challenge. Choose the level that makes combat enjoyable; EA says you can change it outside combat, and difficulty does not change in-game rewards. (EA FAQ; EA help and accessibility information)

Which settings can improve comfort and accessibility?
EA’s accessibility information describes options to check in the game, including control remapping; subtitle and closed-caption settings; and visual adjustments.
