It does not give an exact penalty. For Elaine Malloy, choose Algae Infusion, not Lithium Latte.
How to recover from a wrong coffee choice
According to the SteamAH walkthrough published October 2, 2026, selecting an incorrect drink costs a little customer standing and removes that drink from the customer’s available options. You can then make another choice from what remains. The guide does not quantify the standing loss or identify a game version, so it does not establish an exact penalty or guarantee that behavior is identical across versions.
Elaine Malloy’s correct order
Give Elaine Malloy Algae Infusion. The walkthrough specifically identifies Lithium Latte as the wrong choice for her.
How The Coffee Run deliveries progress
The walkthrough says the quest begins by speaking with Bou at Cafe Poccocup on Friday. Deliveries are arranged in sets of four. When you finish a set, return to the cafe and speak with Bou to receive the next set.

What is known about the standing penalty
The available guides describe the loss as small or slight, but none provides a measured number. SteamAH supplies the detailed quest flow and answer list; a Portuguese-language guide from GGames describes the same general consequence. Neither is an official game source or reports firsthand testing here, so the size of the penalty and behavior in a specific game version remain unconfirmed.
