Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →If the Mirror Isles Part 3 puzzle will not complete, first check that your board matches the solution you are following. “Part 3” appears to refer to two different layouts: one has two named mirrors and a purple crystal; another has five islands and three boulders. Their solutions are not interchangeable. The available sources describe players getting stuck, but do not confirm a completion-trigger bug or an official fix.
Identify which Mirror Isles puzzle you have
Before entering any moves, compare the starting board with the landmarks below. A Steam community thread and a separate walkthrough use similar Mirror Isles labels, but the available sources do not establish that they describe the same room.
| Board landmark | Likely reference | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Two mirrors called “North/East” and “West/South,” a purple stone or crystal, a bottom island, an upper island, and an exit | Player solution in the Steam discussion, “What to do in this latest Mirror Isles level?” Steam discussion | You can try the ten-step sequence below, but only if your board matches these landmarks. |
| Five islands, three boulders, a mirror on a western strip, a central island, and an eastern exit | A walkthrough result titled “Mirror Isles 3” Walkthrough reference | Do not use the Steam thread’s numbered moves. The broad approach described for this room is to use boulders for short crossings and reflection for the wide final gap. |
The walkthrough describes footage from a demo, but does not identify its exact build; its author also says they did not independently play-test the solution in the native game. Treat its guidance as a layout-specific clue, not a verified route. If neither row matches your board, do not force either solution.
Try the ten-step route only on the matching board
A player in the Steam discussion shared this sequence for the layout with two named mirrors, the purple stone, upper and bottom islands, and an exit. It is player advice, not an independently tested walkthrough. Follow the game’s own controls for moving mirrors, pushing the stone, and reflecting or teleporting.
#1 Best Overall
- Move the North/East mirror one tile left and five tiles down.
- Move the West/South mirror one tile left and one tile down.
- Reflect or teleport yourself to the bottom island.
- Push the purple stone two tiles north.
- Return yourself to the upper island.
- Move the North/East mirror one tile down.
- Move the West/South mirror one tile left.
- Teleport the purple stone.
- Move the West/South mirror one tile left or right.
- Reflect or teleport yourself to the exit.
The thread’s general hint is to position the crystal so it can transfer after the mirrors move, then use a mirror again to reach the destination. If the sequence stops making sense because a named landmark or move is absent on your board, stop: you may have the other room or a different layout.
What if you reach the exit but the puzzle still does not complete?
The available reports describe confusion about how to solve the room; they do not document a confirmed defect where the correct exit state fails to trigger. They also provide no official technical fix, such as restarting the game, updating it, or changing an input setting. So first distinguish an unfinished route or exit condition from a possible game defect rather than treating a reset or settings change as a proven solution.

If the board appears complete but nothing happens, capture the final state and record the exact game version and platform. Include the room’s visible layout and what you did immediately before reaching the exit. Those details can help someone determine whether the exit condition was actually met or whether the game may be failing; the sources available here do not identify a specific technical cause.
