First identify which upgrade failed: enhancement raises the amulet’s + level, while Substance Morph is a separate quality-upgrade step. Check the requirements shown in your current client before trying again. Available item data describes a Rare Revelation Amulet that can be enhanced to +10 and becomes eligible for Substance Morph after ten enhancements, but it does not establish a specific cause or guaranteed fix for a failed attempt.
Identify the upgrade you attempted
“Upgrading” can refer to two different actions. Enhancement increases the item’s plus level; Substance Morph changes its quality. The item record describes these as separate steps, so confirm which action you selected before diagnosing a failure.
| Action | What it does | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Enhancement | Raises the amulet’s + level; the Global-labeled Rare item record lists enhancement up to +10. | Whether the matching Amulet Enhance Scroll and all requirements appear in the current enhancement interface. |
| Substance Morph | A separate quality-upgrade step, described as available after ten enhancements. | The item’s enhancement count, the current recipe, and the resulting item shown in the current interface. |
If enhancement will not proceed
- Open the current enhancement interface and select the Revelation Amulet. Read the requirements displayed for that item rather than relying on a guide from another client or region.
- Check for the matching Amulet Enhance Scroll. The Global-labeled item record associates this scroll with Monolith Resonance; check the current Monolith reward display to confirm the correct scroll is available to your character.
- Compare your item and materials with the displayed requirements. If the interface still blocks the action, record its exact message and do not repeat an action that may consume materials until you understand the displayed conditions.
If Substance Morph is unavailable or fails
- Check the amulet’s enhancement count. The Global-labeled item record says Substance Morph is available after ten enhancements.
- Inspect the current Substance Morph recipe and result. Confirm that the selected item is eligible and that the interface shows the materials and outcome you expect; the item record does not establish that every client version uses an identical recipe.
- Use the displayed requirements as the authority for your client. If the option remains unavailable or fails despite meeting what the interface shows, save the exact error and item state before seeking help.
Check region and client version before following a guide
The Rare, level 13, bound Revelation Amulet record is labeled Global Launch Scale Test client data dated 2026-09-19. It lists Awakened Hope or Buried Atrocities as reward routes; these are faction-specific routes, not necessarily two quests available to every character. The record is an unofficial companion’s transcription, not a live official support article, so confirm reward availability and mechanics in your own client.
Do not use the separate Heroic Revelation Amulet entry to diagnose a Global item. That entry is labeled Korea/Taiwan client v110 data dated 2026-09-09 and was not in Global as of 2026-09-19. Shared item names do not establish that grade, recipe, or availability carries across regions or versions.
