Is Life360 free?
Yes. Life360 Support says, “Our basic service is free to download and use.” In the U.S. offer displayed on October 8, 2026, the Free plan included two days of location history, two place alerts, a family driving summary, and Tile item tracking. The U.S. phone-tracking page also lists crash detection for Free.
Free is a functional entry-level plan, but its history and place-alert limits are lower than those shown for paid U.S. plans. Outside the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, the support page says users may see a plan called Life360 Premium instead of the three named paid tiers.

Life360’s May 2026 investor presentation gives different U.S. Silver and Gold bundle prices: $7.99 and $14.99 per month, respectively, for bundles as of March 31, 2026. Because the later-accessed membership page displays higher Silver and Gold prices, use the current local plan page and checkout—not the older investor presentation—for a purchase decision.

How much does Life360 cost, and how does billing work?
On the U.S. membership page accessed October 8, 2026, the displayed monthly prices were $0 for Free, $9.99 for Silver, $16.99 for Gold, and $24.99 for Platinum. These are the page’s displayed monthly amounts, not a guarantee of current pricing or availability elsewhere. Life360 says some purchases may include a seven-day free trial, followed by billing at the membership amount; memberships auto-renew until canceled, and sales tax may apply in some locations. Review the terms in the app store or checkout before subscribing.

Which Life360 plan should you choose?
- Choose Free if basic location sharing and the included limited history and place alerts meet your needs.
- Consider Silver if the U.S. offer’s seven days of history and five saved places are useful, and its other listed benefits justify the cost.
