DeRUCCI describes an AI mattress as a bed that senses a sleeper and changes its support in response. Its T11 PRO and T11+ models are examples, but they are not identical: the company lists six support zones for the T11 PRO and five for the T11+. Their sleep reports and sensing claims are wellness features, not established medical diagnosis or treatment.
What does “AI mattress” mean?
In DeRUCCI’s terminology, an AI mattress is a system that senses body or sleep signals, interprets them, and adjusts support or the sleep environment. That is more than a fixed mattress paired with an app that only logs sleep. The brand’s smart mattress guide presents sensing, adjustment units, an algorithm, and temperature control as parts of this kind of system. This is the company’s description of the category and its implementation, not an independent audit of every model.
The same guide distinguishes an integrated smart mattress from a smart cover, which adds functions over a separate mattress, and an air-chamber bed, whose firmness can be manually adjusted. These are useful forms to compare, but the guide is company-published.
What do the T11 PRO and T11+ claim to do?
The models’ official pages describe different specifications. Do not assume that a feature listed for one is included in the other.

What do the sleep reports and accuracy claim establish?
DeRUCCI says the T11 PRO app generates daily reports covering sleep cycles, deep-sleep duration, REM stages, and overall sleep quality. That describes the report the company says it provides; it does not establish that the mattress clinically measures those stages or that using it improves sleep.

DeRUCCI’s guide also says CAICT testing reported 99.5 percent heart-rate accuracy for the T11 PRO. The year, test conditions, and underlying CAICT report are not stated in the reviewed guide, so the figure cannot be independently assessed from that source. The company frames the sensing as wellness-oriented, not medical measurement. The available sources do not establish that a DeRUCCI mattress diagnoses a condition, treats disease, or improves sleep in a clinical study.
How to evaluate a smart mattress before buying
- Find out what actually changes. Check whether the exact model senses posture or body shape and automatically adjusts support, or whether it only provides monitoring or manual adjustment.
- Check sides and zones. Confirm whether each side operates independently and which body zones the model specifically names. The T11 PRO and T11+ list different zone counts.
- Understand what the app reports. Treat consumer sleep summaries as wellness information unless the seller can substantiate a medical claim. Do not interpret an app report as a diagnosis.
- Confirm fit and comfort details. Verify the dimensions and their units, heating features, and any compatible bed or base requirements with the seller. The reviewed pages do not establish all compatibility details.
- Get transaction terms in writing. Ask about the exact market-specific model, current price and stock, delivery, warranty, trial period, and return policy before ordering.
