Why the answer differs by game
“Prime Gaming game” can describe more than one kind of access. Luna Standard streams certain subscription content as part of an eligible Prime benefit; Amazon’s Luna terms say that access applies while the benefit is active. A separately claimed PC game may instead be installed through the Amazon Games app or redeemed with a code at a third-party store. Other offers add content to a linked game account. Those routes have different account destinations and terms, so a rule for one should not be assumed to apply to the others.

How to check whether you can still play a claimed game
- Identify the offer type. Look at the claim confirmation or offer details to see whether it refers to Luna streaming, an Amazon Games app install, a code, a linked launcher, or in-game content.
- Check the claim record. Open Prime Gaming’s My Collection and review the claim history, available codes, and delivery status, as described in Amazon’s claiming guide.
- Open the account that received it. For an Amazon Games app game, check the library associated with the account used to claim it. For a code or linked-account reward, check the publisher or store account where you redeemed or linked it.
- Read the offer-specific terms. Use the redemption instructions for that particular title or reward; do not infer its post-Prime status from a different game or storefront.
- For Luna Standard, check active access. If the title was part of Luna’s Prime-included subscription catalog, confirm whether you still have an eligible Prime benefit or another valid access route.
Can you keep playing a Prime Gaming game after cancelling?
Sometimes a game may be available through a separate account or access entitlement, but Amazon’s public guidance reviewed here does not guarantee that every Prime Gaming claim remains playable after cancellation. Nor does it say that every claimed game or reward disappears at that point. The reliable answer comes from the particular offer’s terms and the account or service through which it was delivered.

Do Prime Gaming games expire?
There is no single expiration rule for all Prime Gaming offers. Luna Standard access is connected to an active eligible Prime benefit, while PC-game claims, redeemed codes, and in-game rewards use other delivery routes. Amazon’s Luna terms also say that subscription content and specific titles can change over time and by location; Amazon describes Prime’s Luna offering as a rotating selection.
