Pro is more relevant when a link alone is not enough. Raindrop.io lists full-text search across saved pages and files, archival copies of saved pages, reminders, annotations, daily backups, duplicate and broken-link finders, AI features, and 10 GB of file uploads per month. An archive can help retain a copy when a source page changes or disappears; it is distinct from merely bookmarking the original URL. What Evernote’s free note cap means for clipping
Evernote’s Web Clipper can save full-page articles, images, selected text, important emails, and web pages, according to its Quick Start Guide. But having access to the clipper does not answer whether the Free account can hold a large clipping archive: Evernote’s plan comparison lists a maximum of 50 notes, one notebook, and one connected device for Free. Treat that as a cap on notes that can constrain a clipping workflow, not as a separately defined limit of 50 web clips.
The same plan comparison lists 1 GB of monthly uploads and a maximum note size of 1 GB. Those are separate limits from the note count. If your clipping habit is likely to exceed the free note allowance, review Evernote’s current paid plans and regional terms before moving an archive there.

When Notion or OneNote makes more sense
Choose Notion for clips that become workspace material
Notion’s Web Clipper saves a page into a destination you select in your workspace. Notion describes adding notes, tags, sharing, or tasks, and its help page frames clips as material to read or edit later. This is a natural fit when a saved page should become part of a project or knowledge workspace, rather than remain only a bookmark. Investigate OneNote if it is already your notes home
