Until the released game can be checked, the precise Deck controls and whether prompts reflect native controls or a Steam Input layout remain unconfirmed. Do not assume a particular button map or built-in gyro support.
What performance can I expect?
No credible Steam Deck measurements for Boltgun 2’s frame rate, resolution, graphics settings, battery life, or thermals are established before release. The Windows PC requirements are not a reliable substitute for Deck testing.

Do not transfer performance reports for the 2023 Boltgun to its sequel. A useful post-release Deck test would identify the Deck model, SteamOS and game versions, resolution or render scale, graphics settings, frame cap, and whether frame rate is an average or a short observed range. Battery draw and runtime should be reported separately rather than inferred from a brief gameplay session.

What is known about the game itself?
Auroch Digital describes two playable characters, Ultramarine Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath, alongside a branching campaign spanning more than 30 levels, 40+ new enemies, and an automap.
