The vivo T4x 5G is the more compelling fit if you prioritise a larger stated battery and a lower observed listing price; Nothing Phone (4b) stands out for its Super AMOLED display and Nothing OS. The comparison is for India-market models, and prices depend on the exact RAM/storage variant and current offer. Neither phone can be declared the performance, camera or battery-life winner from specifications alone.

The Nothing display is slightly larger and uses AMOLED, while vivo specifies an LCD panel. The vivo brightness figure is HBM; it should not be treated as directly comparable with a Nothing brightness figure measured under different conditions.
Which display and software suit you better?
Choose by display preference
On stated display specifications, Nothing Phone (4b) offers a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED panel at 120Hz. The vivo T4x 5G has a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD, also at 120Hz, with vivo listing 1050-nit HBM. If you prefer AMOLED, Nothing is the clearer match; if you are comparing brightness, look for measurements taken under the same conditions rather than comparing unlike figures.
Choose by interface, not Android number alone
The listed software baselines are Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 on vivo and Android 16 with Nothing OS on Nothing. Nothing’s India page also highlights Essential AI tools. These version and feature details do not establish how long either phone will receive updates: check each maker’s current support documentation before buying for long-term software support.

Battery, charging and durability
vivo lists a 6500mAh typical battery capacity and a 6360mAh rated capacity for the T4x 5G, with up to 44W FlashCharge. Nothing’s indexed India-page content lists 6000mAh and describes fast charging. By stated India capacity, vivo’s battery is larger, but capacity alone does not prove longer real-world battery life. Nothing calls Phone (4b) “Our longest-lasting phone yet”; that is Nothing’s marketing statement, not an independent comparison test.
Both phones are associated with an IP64 rating in the available specifications and comparison material. IP64 is not waterproofing, and vivo specifically cautions that its resistance to splashes, water and dust is not permanent. Verify Nothing’s exact regional rating and manufacturer caveat on its official product page before relying on it.

Chipsets and cameras: what specifications can and cannot tell you
The T4x 5G is specified with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G, built on a 4nm process, while Phone (4b) uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 according to indexed official-page and comparison material. Those names alone do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming; no controlled performance test is available here.
vivo lists a 50MP main rear camera, a 2MP bokeh camera, an 8MP front camera and 4K recording. Nothing advertises a 50MP main camera and 4K video; a comparison listing adds an 8MP rear camera and reports a 16MP front camera, but those extra camera details should be checked against Nothing’s current regional specification page. Megapixel counts do not establish image quality, and there is no camera shootout or sample comparison here.

India price difference: compare the same configuration
There is no reliable timeless price gap to quote. One vivo Store comparison listing reports ₹16,999 for the T4x 5G 6GB/128GB, while a separate vivo Store product listing showed ₹19,499 for 8GB/128GB. Gadgets Now’s comparison result listed ₹16,999 for vivo T4X and ₹31,890 for Nothing Phone 4b, while another indexed comparison reported a different Nothing price. These are listing snapshots, not guaranteed current prices.
To work out the actual difference, compare the same date’s payable prices for the variants you intend to buy. Check whether each displayed amount is a list price or an offer and account separately for bank discounts or exchange terms; do not assume a price for one storage configuration applies to another.

Which phone should you choose?
Pick vivo T4x 5G if
- You want the larger stated India battery capacity and up to 44W FlashCharge.
- You prefer the vivo configuration and find a lower current price for your chosen RAM/storage variant.
- You are comfortable with an LCD rather than an AMOLED display.
Consider Nothing Phone (4b) if
- A Super AMOLED screen and Nothing OS are more important to you.
- You have confirmed the exact variant and its current asking price for India.
For either phone, compare independent performance tests, camera samples and battery tests if those are decisive factors. The listed specifications do not settle those questions, and update-policy duration should be confirmed with the manufacturers.
