The UBON SW-211 Maxfit’s strongest appeal is also its defining compromise: it has no display, so you check its health and activity information in the Da Halo app rather than on your wrist. Digit reviewer Ashish Singh found that screen-free experience increasingly appealing, but said the app often showed metrics without enough explanation, workout records were basic, and syncing could be unreliable. His review suggests the band is best suited to someone who values a quieter wrist over detailed fitness analysis—and who is willing to wait for a lower price.

What the UBON SW-211 Maxfit is—and how you use it

The SW-211 Maxfit is a screenless fitness band. It does not show stats or notifications on the wrist; instead, the Da Halo app is where you view the information it collects. In Digit’s review published on October 5, 2026, Singh said he initially missed having a display, but grew to appreciate not having a screen or notifications demanding his attention. He put it this way: “In fact, the screenless approach ended up being one of my favourite things about Maxfit.”

That experience is personal rather than a universal benefit. If you want to glance at the time, check a workout, or read a notification without opening your phone, this design will feel limiting. If you prefer to check measurements when you choose, the absence of a display may feel like a relief.

What the Da Halo app tells you—and what it leaves unclear

Singh described Da Halo as clean and easy to navigate, and liked its Daily Recovery score as a quick snapshot. His main criticism was not that the app lacked numbers, but that some numbers came with too little explanation to make them useful or easy to trust.

Sleep: a readable summary, with limited explanation

The app showed awake time, sleep latency, sleep efficiency, and sleep timing. Singh’s sleep score was generally 65–80 during his testing. He found the broad picture understandable, but said it mostly described what happened rather than explaining why. He sometimes saw a broad resemblance to results from his Apple Watch Series 12, but trusted the Apple Watch more when readings differed. That is one reviewer’s comparison, not a controlled accuracy test.

HRV: a number that needs context

Singh observed Maxfit HRV readings around 21–25 ms, compared with roughly 50 ms on his Apple Watch Series 12. Those figures should not be treated as a direct accuracy comparison: devices can differ in measurement method, timing, and algorithms. The clearer criticism is that Da Halo did not give him enough context to interpret the Maxfit number. A value without an explanation of what it represents or how to use it can be difficult to act on, even when the measurement itself has not been shown to be wrong.

Heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, and calories

In Singh’s observations, day-to-day and resting heart-rate readings were generally close to his Apple Watch readings, with greater differences during exercise. Blood-oxygen readings were broadly similar, while steps and calories were reasonably close but imperfect. On one walk of roughly 2,000 steps, he reported a difference of about 200 steps. These are individual comparisons under unspecified conditions; they do not establish a general error rate for the band.

Stress and recovery

Singh found the Daily Recovery score useful as a simple snapshot, but was not convinced by the stress score during his testing. That contrast captures the app’s broader challenge: a summary can be easy to read yet still offer limited help in understanding what to do with the result.

Workout tracking: plenty of modes, basic records

The band advertises more than 100 sports modes, but Singh found the resulting workout information basic. He also encountered delayed syncing or cases where data did not appear. A long mode list therefore does not, on the evidence of this review, mean detailed workout analysis or consistently available records. If you rely on an app to review sessions soon after exercise, the reported syncing problems matter more than the number of modes.

Comfort and everyday wear

Singh described the strap as decent, but said it stayed wet after bathing and could feel itchy if he put it on immediately afterward. He also found the sensors on the underside somewhat bulky, which made wearing the band to sleep less comfortable. These are his personal wear impressions; the review does not establish a water-resistance rating or a general fit for different wrists.

Battery life: manufacturer maximums versus one review period

UBON claims up to 30 days of active use and up to 60 days on standby, as reported in the Digit review. Singh could not verify the full 30-day active-use claim during his review period. He observed the charge fall from 100% to 48% after roughly a week, then rise to 68% after about 20–25 minutes of charging from a laptop. Those shorter figures describe his experience, not a standardized battery test or a guarantee of typical runtime.

Singh’s verdict was to wait for a price drop. That is a sensible position if your priority is dependable, detailed health or workout interpretation: the review’s concerns are precisely about context, basic records, and occasional syncing. The band is a more plausible fit if you specifically want a display-free wrist experience and are content to use the app for occasional, high-level checks.

  • Consider it if: a screenless band sounds appealing, you want a simple app snapshot, and you do not need rich workout analysis.
  • Look elsewhere if: you expect clear explanations of HRV and stress, detailed workout records, dependable immediate syncing, or comfortable overnight wear to be central features.

The available evidence is one hands-on review, not an independent statistical study or clinical validation. Singh’s comparisons with an Apple Watch are useful as observations of his experience, but they do not establish population-level accuracy or prove that either device is correct in every disagreement.
