The Bitcoin total was smaller than BlackRock’s reported $122 million fund-level inflow because withdrawals from other funds reduced the category-wide net figure.
What the October 6 Bitcoin ETF figures show
Tokenpost and KuCoin, both citing SoSoValue, reported a net inflow of $119 million across U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs for the October 6, 2026 session. The reports were published October 7; the figures refer to the prior day’s fund flows, not the publication date. Tokenpost’s report and KuCoin’s report are secondary accounts, and the totals were not independently reconciled with issuer filings.
The category’s net figure is the sum of inflows and outflows across funds. It is therefore possible for an individual fund to receive more than the net amount for the whole category: inflows into one fund can be offset by withdrawals elsewhere.
Reported fund-level flows
| Fund or category | Reported October 6 flow |
|---|---|
| U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF category | $119 million net inflow, as reported by Tokenpost and KuCoin citing SoSoValue |
| BlackRock IBIT | $122 million inflow, as reported by Tokenpost and KuCoin citing SoSoValue |
| Morgan Stanley MSBT | $7.84 million inflow, as reported by Tokenpost and KuCoin citing SoSoValue |
| Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (ticker BTC) | $10.97 million outflow, as reported by Tokenpost and KuCoin citing SoSoValue |
The same reports put Bitcoin spot ETF net assets at $110.677 billion and cumulative net inflows at $57.817 billion as of October 6. Those are reported category figures, not independently reconciled totals.

Ether ETFs reportedly continued to lose money
A related-news excerpt published by Pluang on October 7 says Ether ETFs lost $201.9 million on October 6, describing it as their largest outflow in three weeks. It also reports $407.8 million in withdrawals over six consecutive sessions beginning September 29. Pluang’s excerpt does not include a fund-by-fund breakdown, and the underlying report and primary data were not independently checked.
| U.S. spot ETF category | Reported October 6 net flow | Reported recent pattern |
|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | $119 million inflow, reported by Tokenpost and KuCoin citing SoSoValue | No comparable streak established in the cited reports |
| Ether | $201.9 million outflow, according to Pluang’s related-news excerpt | $407.8 million withdrawn across six consecutive sessions from September 29, according to the same excerpt |
Why the Bitcoin and Ether totals should not be read as a forecast
The figures describe reported fund flows for one session and, for Ether, a short run of sessions. They show that the categories moved in opposite directions on October 6; they do not establish why investors acted, whether the same pattern continued afterward, or how either asset’s price would respond. The available reports do not provide enough verified information to compare complete fund rosters or investment performance.
