What TrollInstallerX does
TrollInstallerX is an installer for TrollStore. On supported combinations, it can install TrollStore directly and install its persistence helper. On other supported combinations, it installs the helper into a removable system app; that helper is used for the next installation step. The installer and the app it installs are separate projects, and compatibility with TrollInstallerX alone does not establish that TrollStore will work on a device. Which installation method applies?
The project documents two paths. They are not equivalent options to choose freely: the iOS version and device determine which one applies.

How to install TrollInstallerX
The project’s high-level workflow is to download a release, sideload TrollInstallerX, open it, and start the installation. The result depends on the supported device and iOS combination.
Quick Recap
- Check the project README for your exact iOS version, architecture, and any device-specific exception.
- Open the official releases page and download the latest release asset.
- Sideload TrollInstallerX using a method of your choice. The project workflow does not require a particular sideloading application.
- Open TrollInstallerX and start the install. If direct installation is supported, it installs TrollStore and the persistence helper. If the indirect route applies, it places the helper in a removable system app for the next step; follow the project’s current instructions for that combination.
