Torq announced a $70 million Series C on September 24, 2024, to expand its security-operations business and develop its generative-AI capabilities. The round was led by Evolution Equity Partners, with four existing investors participating. Torq said the money would fund international expansion and hiring as it builds HyperSOC, its security-operations product.
What is Torq HyperSOC?
HyperSOC is Torq’s security-operations product, built on the company’s Hyperautomation Platform. Torq describes it as a way to automate and manage security operations center (SOC) work, including investigation, triage, remediation, case management, and more complex processes. The company says the platform can handle these processes at machine speed; that is Torq’s product description, not an independently measured performance result.
For security teams, the product’s stated aim is to coordinate work that would otherwise require analysts to move between alerts, investigations, and response steps. The funding announcement does not disclose technical benchmarks, deployment details, or customer-level results for HyperSOC.
Who invested in Torq’s Series C?
Evolution Equity Partners led the $70 million round. Bessemer Venture Partners, Notable Capital, Greenfield Partners, and Strait Capital also participated, according to Torq’s September 24, 2024 announcement.

Torq said the Series C brought its funding raised during 2024 to $112 million and its total funding since the company began in 2020 to $192 million. These are company-reported funding totals.
How will Torq use the funding?
Torq said it would direct the proceeds toward three priorities:

The announcement names these investment areas but does not break out how much of the round is allocated to each.
What does the round say about Torq’s growth plans?
In a January 2025 update, Torq reported that revenue grew 300% and its employee count grew 200% in 2024. The company also set a target of reaching $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in 2026. The growth figures are Torq’s reported results; the ARR figure is a future target, not revenue already achieved. See the January 2025 company update.

Torq has cited enterprise customers including Check Point, SentinelOne, Wiz, ZoomInfo, Blackstone, and Rivian. It has also described a network of technology partners and resellers and value-added resellers (VARs). These customer names and channel references indicate the company’s stated market reach, but do not by themselves establish product performance or customer outcomes.

The round gives Torq capital to pursue a specific strategy: expand into more regions, grow teams responsible for product and sales, and invest further in generative AI for security operations. It reflects investor backing for that plan, not proof that AI automation has eliminated the need for analysts or outperformed competing SOC products.

Assessing HyperSOC against other security-operations platforms would require evidence on practical factors such as investigation and response automation, AI features, integrations, case management, geographic availability, enterprise scale, and partner support. Torq’s funding and product announcements do not provide independent comparative testing on those dimensions. Likewise, the company’s partner information does not establish current enrollment requirements or commercial terms for its Partner Acceleration Program or reseller ecosystem.
