Thrillzz describes its mobile app as a free-to-play social sportsbook: users make sports predictions with virtual Thrillzz Coins and can compete through Squads and leaderboards. It is not presented here as a conventional licensed real-money sportsbook. Thrillzz’s Terms say the service is not real-money gambling, but the company permits Coin purchases and imposes eligibility and other restrictions. That is the operator’s contractual description, not an independent legal ruling.
What Thrillzz is—and what it is not
Thrillzz Inc. describes Thrillzz as a mobile-first app for pregame and live sports predictions. Its homepage lists NCAA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and tennis, and promotes social picks, Squads, leaderboards, and rewards. The brand in this review is spelled Thrillzz. It is distinct from similarly named “Thrill” or “Thrillz” real-money crypto-casino services that may appear in search results.
How Thrillzz Coins and rewards work
Thrillzz says users can receive Coins through welcome or daily rewards, loyalty rewards, promotions, and purchases. Its FAQ advertises a new-user “100% Match up to $100 in Coins package.” That is a promotion, not a guaranteed or permanent benefit; check the current offer and its applicable rules before relying on it. The main app’s Terms say Coins, Picks, and Boosters have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or goods. Thrillzz also reserves the right to modify or remove them. Accounts inactive for six consecutive months forfeit associated balances, and the Terms say purchased Coins will not be refunded in that situation. Do not assume that a reference to “prizes” or a promotion means Coins can be redeemed. Thrillzz Games is a separate service with separate terms, currency, rules, and awards; the Games rules do not replace the main app’s Terms, or vice versa. Eligibility and state availability
The main Terms require users to be U.S. residents located in the United States and at least 19, or the higher age of majority where they live. They prohibit access from Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington. Thrillzz Terms of Use
Thrillzz’s public availability information is inconsistent: its homepage and About page list some states, including Indiana and Maine, despite their exclusion in the main Terms; the homepage also lists California. Thrillzz Games publishes a different set of state exclusions under separate rules. Is Thrillzz legal to use in the U.S.?
Thrillzz’s Terms of Use, last revised September 28, 2026, state: “THE SERVICES (AS DEFINED HEREIN) ARE NOT ‘REAL MONEY GAMBLING’, NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO USE THE SERVICES.” This is the company’s own contractual characterization, not a determination by a court or regulator. California adds material legal context, but the available information does not resolve the status of this specific product. The California Gambling Control Commission’s 2025 legislation summary says AB 831 updates laws involving online sweepstakes and gambling simulators and prohibits digital methods that simulate gambling in a manner that awards or connects participants with prizes of value, subject to stated exceptions. A federal complaint filed in California on September 26, 2025 alleges that Thrillzz operated unlawful gambling websites and made misleading legality representations.
