Three Xbox digital store sales are reported to be running, together covering more than 1,600 offers on games, add-ons, expansions and bundles. The report that describes them was published on 9 October 2026 at 04:52 UTC, so it cannot confirm that the sales were already live earlier that day. Below is what the report says, what it does not establish, and how to check current prices yourself.
The three sales and their reported end dates
The report, published by iXBT Games and attributed to TrueAchievements, names three separate promotions in the Xbox digital store:

The report does not state a time zone for these end dates, so treat them as calendar dates and check the exact closing time on the store pages themselves. It also does not say which offers belong to which sale. It describes the three promotions together as covering games, add-ons, expansions and bundles.

Are the sales running right now?
The report is dated after the moment this article’s facts are anchored to (03:27:44 UTC on 9 October 2026), so it does not prove the sales had begun at that time. The most that can be said from it is that the sales were reported as running by the time of its publication, later that same day. If you are reading this at a different hour, the store itself is the only reliable source for whether a sale is active.

What the “over 1,600 offers” figure covers
The more than 1,600 offers figure is a total for all three sales combined, not a count for any single one. It is a secondary-source claim: the report attributes it to TrueAchievements, and the published report does not include the underlying list of offers or explain how the total was counted. Some of those offers may be add-ons, expansions or bundles rather than full games, so the headline number should not be read as 1,600 discounted games.
Example titles named in the report
The report uses Resident Evil Requiem, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and Alan Wake II as examples of discounted products. It does not give their sale prices, percentage discounts, or which edition or regional storefront each applies to. Do not assume any particular title is discounted by a particular amount, or that every edition of these games is included.

What the report does not tell you
- Individual prices or discount percentages for any item
- Regional availability or currency-specific pricing
- Specific game editions covered by the promotions
- A complete, item-by-item list of qualifying offers
- Whether any sale can be combined with other offers
How to check what is actually discounted
- Open the Xbox Store on your console, or visit the Xbox store website in a browser, and sign in to the account you plan to buy with, because listed prices can vary by account region.
- Look for the sale names above on the store’s promotional pages. If the sale names do not appear, the promotion may not be live in your region yet, or may have a different name in your storefront.
- Open each game page and compare the struck-through original price with the current price, including the edition you intend to buy.
- Note the closing date shown on the sale page, since the report’s dates may differ from the store’s stated closing time in your time zone.
If a game you expected to see in the sale is missing, the most likely explanation is that it is outside the promotion for your region, or that the discount has not yet been applied to that edition.
