How do their stories connect?
Fireproof Games describes The Room Two as continuing the first game’s time-spanning journey and beginning to unravel the mystery of the Null. The Room Three picks up after those events. Fireproof says the player’s search for the Null continues after being lured to a remote island and its mysterious mansion. How are the puzzles and gameplay different?
The Room Two: puzzles spread across locations
The official description emphasizes expanded puzzle gameplay across a time-spanning journey and multiple locations. The game’s identity remains focused on examining and manipulating objects to solve puzzles; the available descriptions do not establish a detailed, puzzle-by-puzzle list of mechanics.

The Room Three: tactile puzzles in a larger world
The Room Three retains the tactile puzzle-solving approach of its predecessors, while Steam describes its world as considerably expanded for exploration. The island, mansion, and Craftsman’s trials give the puzzles a broader setting and a stronger sense of moving through a place rather than focusing only on individual puzzle objects. This supports a difference in scope, not a claim that every puzzle mechanic is new.
In practical terms, choose The Room Two for the earlier, location-spanning chapter of the mystery; choose The Room Three if a larger explorable setting is the distinction you care about most.

Do you need to play The Room Two first?
No gameplay requirement to play The Room Two first is established in the available descriptions. However, Fireproof explicitly presents The Room Three as following the events of The Room Two. Playing the earlier game first is the better choice if you want the Null story in sequence; starting with The Room Three makes sense if you are choosing primarily for its island setting and expanded exploration.
Which game should you choose for your device?
Platform availability depends on the edition and storefront. The sources consulted list The Room Three for PC on Steam and for iPhone and iPad on Apple’s US App Store. Fireproof describes the series broadly as spanning mobile, PC, console, and VR, but that franchise-wide statement does not confirm that either specific game is available on every platform. Check the live listing for your device and region before buying.

How long is The Room Three?
Apple’s US App Store listing says The Room Three offers “a solid 5 hours of gameplay” for full completion. This is store editorial copy, not an independently measured average.
