What Kindle bundle was included in Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon named the Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle among select device offers for its U.S. Prime Big Deal Days event, held October 6–7, 2026. Amazon described the event as 48 hours of offers exclusive to Prime members, but its announcement did not give this bundle’s price. Amazon’s event announcement
Tom’s Guide reported that the 16GB Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle was $201 during the event, against a stated regular price of $346. The report says it included a 16GB Kindle Colorsoft, a fabric cover, and a 9W power adapter. Is the $201 Kindle Colorsoft bundle still on sale?
The $201 figure refers to the October 6–7 event, which had ended by October 8, 2026. Amazon’s event page says the sale ended October 7. The current Amazon price, stock, and any listing-level Prime restrictions have not been verified, so do not treat $201 as a live price or assume the offer will recur. Did every Kindle model or region get the same discount?
No broad conclusion about Kindle discounts is supported by the available reports. Amazon named one bundle in its U.S. event announcement; that does not establish that every Kindle model or bundle configuration was discounted.

TechRadar’s October 2 coverage said the UK discounts it had observed applied to older models, while the new 2026 range appeared at full price; at that point, it had not seen U.S. deals on the new models. That is an early, dated snapshot, not a complete account of offers during the event or across all markets. TechRadar’s October 2 Kindle deals coverage
