The plan change concerns a discontinued Disney+ add-on billed through Hulu—not every Disney+ and Hulu bundle. Tom’s Guide reported on December 9, 2025, that the add-on stopped being offered and that existing subscribers would lose access at their next billing cycle on or after that date. The official help pages cited below do not independently confirm that timing, so check your account and any notice from your billing provider to determine whether it applies to you.
Which Disney+ and Hulu plan disappeared?
The affected offer was a Disney+ add-on attached to a Hulu subscription and billed through Hulu. It is distinct from the separately named Disney+, Hulu Bundle plans currently listed by Disney+.
Tom’s Guide reported that the Hulu-billed add-on stopped being offered on December 9, 2025, and that existing subscribers would lose it at their next billing cycle on or after that date. That specific cancellation rule is secondary reporting; the official help pages cited here do not confirm the old add-on’s notice or timing for every billing arrangement. In particular, the available information does not establish the outcome for annual or third-party-billed accounts.
Does this mean Hulu or every Disney+ and Hulu bundle is ending?
No. Hulu’s May 19, 2026 help page says Hulu and Hulu Premium subscriptions will continue to be available, and that subscribers can keep watching in the Hulu app and on Hulu’s website. Hulu also says eligible subscribers can browse Hulu content within Disney+ as integration continues. This statement concerns Hulu availability; it does not confirm the cancellation terms for the old Hulu-billed Disney+ add-on.

What do current U.S. bundles cost?
As of September 23, 2026, Disney+’s U.S. pricing page lists these monthly prices for new subscriptions:

| Plan | U.S. price for new subscriptions |
|---|---|
| Disney+, Hulu Bundle | $12.99 per month |
| Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium | $21.99 per month |
These are U.S. prices from Disney’s pricing page, not a confirmed price comparison for every legacy subscriber. Disney says prices may vary when billed through third-party partners. Its page also describes a separate legacy bundle that existing subscribers may keep if they do not cancel or change it; that note is about the named bundle on that page, not the Hulu-billed Disney+ add-on discussed here.
How to check whether your subscription is affected
- Identify the plan name and billing provider. Check the subscription details and any messages from Hulu, Disney+, or the company that bills you. Confirm whether the Disney+ access is the Hulu-billed add-on or a separately named bundle.
- Open your Disney+ account settings. Disney+ directs subscribers to the Account page to manage plans, billing, and settings. The provider that can make a change depends on how your subscription is billed.
- Check the next billing date and any cancellation notice. If you have the old add-on, compare the provider’s account details and notice with the reported December 9, 2025 change. Do not assume the same timing applies to annual or third-party-billed accounts without confirmation from your provider.
- Confirm the terms before switching. Review the replacement plan, price, billing provider, and any changes to your access before cancelling or changing the existing subscription.
Can you watch Hulu inside Disney+ instead?
Hulu says eligible subscribers can watch Hulu content within Disney+, but availability depends on the subscription. Hulu’s May 19, 2026 help page says Hulu Live TV is not yet available in Disney+ and excludes some plans—including Hulu add-ons—from profile linking. If Hulu content does not appear in Disney+, check your plan’s eligibility and continue using the Hulu app or website where available.
